Looking for smoking gear Irie hi has it! I like the fact they are open past 9 pm for us people who work past 5.

Where to begin?! I have NEVER experienced such disgusting customer service in my whole life...especially in Hilo! This is what supporting a local business gets you. I walk into Kilauea Irie Hawaii location for my other half. Myself not being knowledgeable( I don't smoke ) I call him while I'm at the counter looking at their disposal vapes, in the middle of asking him what he wants a female employee walks up to me & YELLS at me to get off of my phone, I'm looking at her confused? I seen the sign saying no pictures or videos. Why is she yelling at me to get off of my phone? By the second time she screams at me, I tell her I'm not illiterate I understand what you're saying but why? She then accused me of trying to purchase a vape for a minor. My Fiancé & I are well over the age to purchase tobacco. (Mind you she does NOT have a mask on) which she should have been since face coverings are required due to COVID-19 & abiding by CDC, state & county guidelines. She is in my face screaming at me to get out, what would any other customer do but of course to ask for the manager?! In disbelief that they have someone like this representing their business! She storms out of the store yelling for her boyfriend to get her cell phone to call the Manager, while she's relaying whatever information to him she tells me her Manager said to leave or else, which by this time I'm outside by my vehicle in the parking lot, no longer in the store. My response to what her Manager stating to leave the parking lot was "or what?" She calls the police, I wait there at the location until authorities arrived. Authorities talk to her & I separately, one of the officers comes out of the business saying the Owner of Irie Hawaii wants to Trespass me! Not only from this location on Kilauea but ALL LOCATIONS on big island. I couldn't believe how the owner of Irie Hawaii handled that situation let alone having an employee like that & excusing her unprofessional behavior & also not implementing state guidelines & regulations due to COVID. My fiancé always goes to this location, but due to one bad apple he will no longer support this business! In my 29 years of being born & raised here I have never ever been treated and disrespected like that by another human being. The owner of this business should definitely train his employees better, I work for my fathers business & I know what customer service is! This location does not have it at all! read more

They do not have a big selection on tobacco which you would expect from a smoke shop. Most products here are very overpriced compared to other places in town. At this location the people who work here are rude, uneducated on tobacco products, and give off a vibe that they are greater than thou. I've seen customers leave in anger and the front door shut and locked on others. They also have a habit of leaving the open sign lit while the business is closed. I did like that the smoke shop is open on Sundays, but with everything stated above I would much rather go to a gas station or wait until Monday for 808 Tobacco to open. read more

They have a large assortment of tobacco related products. The staff is knowledgable and friendly. I would definitely shop there again.
