We have worked with her on our last two home purchases which were both not super straight forward, but Christine worked closely with us to help brainstorm with the sellers and find a great solution (albeit in one case quite complicated) to make sure all parties were happy. We have recommended her highly to a number of close friends who she helped with various purchases and all have found her a super start to work with. One thing I appreciate about Christine is that she is proactive but not pushy, she is happy to work to our speed when we are just casually looking, and will spring into action and be available for questions and advice around the clock when we are getting close to closing a deal. She is also a great listener and helps us assess properties based on what she knows about us and our needs, I never feel like she is just trying to get a sale. She is a true advocate and trusted partner and advisor. I look forward to working with her in the future to continue to expand our portfolio as she is very well connected in the area and knowledgable.

I would be very cautious if Klara is the listing agent of a home you are interested in or even if…read moreyou are considering working with her. In my experience, with Klara being the listing agent of the house we wanted to purchase, I found she lacks professionalism, integrity, and ownership of her mistakes. She is the reason why purchasing a house can be a dirty game. Perhaps that is actually a testimony as why you would want her as your selling agent. But hear me out. The week before thanksgiving, we found a home we were very interested in. Klara was the listing agent, she was also the next door neighbor. We really wanted to secure this house so we made an offer in the asking range. Her and the owner countered. Honestly I should have signed right there and, this is important, I WANTED TO, but Klara told our realtor that there was money still on the table and that the seller would respond favorably to us countering in the middle. So that's what we did with a quick turn around time, assuming everyone was on the same page. That is where everything fell apart. All of a sudden we were told the seller needs time to think. Red Flag. After waiting a day, our offer expired and we had to resubmit our counter. This time we gave the standard 3 days to respond. We woke up the day before thanksgiving to Klara giving a verbal to our realtor that the seller would accept our offer that night. That night came and went and nothing. Another Red Flag. Not only did she not accept (like Klara said she would) but she didn't counter our counter. So, going into thanksgiving, we are left in the dark of what to do next. Klara refused to speak with our realtor on thanksgiving, understandable I guess, but there is an active party looking to purchase a home and it's been a huge mess up until this point, she refused to make it right. All she told us is that she isn't planning to show the house to anyone else. So we wrote a new offer at their original counter and submitted the morning after thanksgiving. Suddenly there was another offer accepted the next day for only 10k more. So it's pretty clear Klara used our offer to coach another realtor where they needed to be to beat our offer. I understand I made the mistake of just not accepting their first counter. I'll own that. But after what we went through, starting with her bad advice and then ending with her using our offer to get higher one, Klara is the type of person who does not take ownership of her mistakes and there is nothing to hold her accountable. At the end it felt like Klara wanted to cover up her mistakes by not giving us the benefit of doubt after having to deal with the mess she created. My realtor has never heard of a situation as mishandled as this. Maybe she just didn't want us as neighbor.

She was always available, incredibly knowledgeable, and made us feel completely supported. Even when we briefly paused our search, she remained kind, patient, and encouraging. From start to finish- Michelle made the home buying process, believe it or not, a wonderful experience. She understood our needs and wants and really tried to work with us. My husband and I never felt, not even once, like we were being "sold." At our first meeting, Michelle and Eileen tried to gauge who we were as people and what was most important to us in a home. Both were so personable, yet extremely professional and responsive. When we made our first offer, Michelle wallked us through the paperwork in great detail (as OCD/Type A as I am, I really appreciated this, but she also really has a great sense of her clients and can adjust quickly if you don't need the extra details). She and her team were also so organized and provided us with a timeline of the whole process- exactly what to expect during each and every stage. We never felt lost and we always felt that she was right there with us every step of the way. She was also very easy to set up appointments with and was extremely punctual- always showed up 5 minutes or more before we did. Michelle has a way with placing people at ease. As first time home buyers, we needed that as all the documents and appointments were foreign. She also had great referrals for inspectors and contractors- if requested, but never forced on us! All in all, I KNOW we would not have found our DREAM HOME had it not been for Michelle and her diligence, support, responsiveness (to us and to the seller's agent), and efficiency. If we were to ever purchase another home, I would ABSOLUTELY use Michelle and her team again- hands down!
