This place is terrible. I have had a contract signed since March. They sent out install in August and did it wrong. Install comes back out in October and didn't finish. Didn't run the wires all the way to the control box and left bare wire in my attic. Installer says for me to turn on the system so support can get into program the control box. So now I have bare wires live in my attic. Luckily I found them and shut the system off before my house burned down. Shame on them for not getting this done and it's still not corrected read more

The worst solar service I had ever come across. These guys do a door to door sales and promise many things. PLEASE DO NOT TRUST. Almika finance is the one who issue loan for this solar company. They will literally kill you to sign the loan contract. Solar panels will be installed. Thats it. After that you have to kill yourself for smooth usage of solar. You cannot reach anyone from Vantage Point. Alian is the one who tried to reach me out. He is the most lazy person. Another project manager , really worst in communicating anything to customers. Would not recommend this company. Installers did an awful job installing solar panels. I have a roof leak, called a roofing company, they told me it was due solar panels and would not touch them. I have called (can't get a hold of a live person), have emailed, used the contact us feature on their site, booked 4 appointments with the "AI" system they have to come look at leak and have not had anyone show. Finally someone out of blue called said he would try to locate roofers in the area that could come out, nothing. Have sent repeated text messages, and no replies. I am trying not to file with Homeowners to prevent my rate from going up, but at this point to prevent getting sick, may not have any other option. The inside wall is damaged, the roof, its just a mess! The lack of communication and caring is very disheartening. Go with a company that will honor their warranty and isn't hard/impossible to reach. Have 3 options left, file with my insurance, lawyer or local news stations in Austin, TX and Dallas, TX. Guess we will see what is the best to get this all resolved, which is a sad thing to even have to consider. read more

I had a complete solar system installed in the last quarter of 2025, sold to me by Synergy Solar LLC, Ricky Rodrigues and installed by Vantage Point Solar (VPS)Alain Karatepeyan. On 12-2 the whole system completely shut down, a tech came out, got the system running again. Tech explained that some parts were outdated and need to be replaced. I was never notified if anything had been done. On 2-9 an inverter went out on the solar system; the batteries are no longer charging. I have reached out numerous times to both Ricky and Alain. Ricky has never returned a call or email or text. After 7 calls to the VPS, starting on 2-11, no one returned a call, and 2 appointments set up by me (both no call no show), I heard nothing from them. I put in a complaint to BBB and a negative review on Yelp, I finally got a call from Alain from VPS, on Thursday 2-19, asking me what was going on, I explained to him in depth. He apologized, stated that this should be handled by Ricky and he would be reaching out to him. In the meantime, Alain got his lead tech on the call and the tech explained that one of the inverters wasn't downloading the updates and would need to be replaced. Alain said the part may need to be ordered, if it wasn't at the warehouse, and as soon as it was delivered, it would be installed. Since then, I have reached out to Alain again, several times, via email, asking for an update, I received 1 response from him saying he would get me an update, that was on 2-25, I have heard nothing since. It has now been over 3 weeks since my solar panels have been working. Both companies have been derelict in this issue; I am greatly disappointed and frustrated with both Alain and Ricky in their lack of professionalism and commitment to their customers. read more

Vantage Point is an Installer Only. They do not offer any trouble shooting when things go wrong. Youi will be on your own. AND THINGS DO GO WRONG. Highly DO NOT RECOMEND. Find an installer that also repairs your system has issues. Recommend you to call and talk to support personal of the company you are looking into. Before making decision to hire. I have no idea where all the bad reviews are coming from, but all I can say is that my personal experience with Vantage Point has been nothing shy of exceptional!! I was new to the Dallas area when I bought my house back in March, and my electric bill was shocking. After getting some quotes from other solar companies, I one night received a call from Vantage asking if I had looked into solar. Expecting the same as before, I reluctantly agreed to look into solar once more. The process from start to finish went seamlessly and I could not be happier. I am paying almost nothing to enjoy my solar system and my electric bill is basically gone! I HIGHLY RECOMMEND!! read more

Very unsreponsive our ceiling has damage from the solar panels that were not properly installed. I have called multiple times and sent text messages. At first Alain made it seem like he was going to come and get this fixed, but he did not. The quality of their work is absolutely horrible. DO NOT hire this company at all trust me you will regret it. Our house is a new build and we are now having to get the ceiling stuff fixed because of their poor installation. read more

They were contacted over two months ago about this uncompleted job. They said they would get this addressed right away, and I never heard anything. I tried to get resolution again recently. I would never do business again with this company. The company is just poorly run and honestly, I think they don't know much about the solar panels themselves. It took three months to get the panels installed in the first place due to no one being able to contact the owner for installation date (1st red flag). Now that I have the solar panels installed and out $70K, I cannot get in contact with the owner Alain. I call or text him almost everyday! They just installed the panels and left. They're a solar mediation company, and not an actual solar company. Our loan agreement was meant to include gutters in addition to the roof and a battery in addition to the panels. The roofer that this company contracted me ghosted us completely, having never followed up for the gutters. The employee of Vantage Point disappeared off the face of the planet when we asked about gutters and the battery. The actual solar installation company (Solar Warrior, LLC) was wonderful and returned my calls and showed me the work order and apologized as apparently they had a lot of subcontract work from Vantage Point that resulted in terrible customer service. Solar Warrior no longer works with them. Stay far far away. read more

Worst company to do business with. They were very quick to come do a presentation, get our money and just disappear. It's been over a month and my project is still not done. Solar panels were installed quickly but Electrical took a couple weeks when they said it would be 1 to 2 days total. The electrician would only come for a couple hours and leave with an excuse every time. They are so lost in the stage of the project that they sent the electricians out AGAIN. The only good thing about that was that he was able to tell me that one of the solar panels wasn't working properly. They have yet to install the new Nest or the Sense that was delivered several weeks ago. They have failed to have the electric company come out to change my meter to the correct one as the one I have now only reads what I consume but not what I produce so when it comes to the electric company buying my power there will not be a way of telling how much power I have provided. They have also failed to provide the proper apps for my phone where I can monitor my solar panels. I have been running this project on my own. If I don't call my sales person to put pressure on him of what's next, nothing happens. That is when he responds. Every time I call him he says he is in Laredo Texas getting more work. That only tells me that this company ONLY cares about getting more jobs and doesn't care about its current customers. I had to call my sales persons manager today and he is also unreliable.
