I went there today with my 10-year-old son to get a him a skateboard... we were greeted by Shantel and Demi with warmth and kindness. They are such an asset to your company. They were awesome. Fast forward about a year... Walked in, no one else was in the store, a male and female employee conversing with each other, no greeting at all. Circled the store a few times, nothing still. SMH. Typical Maui mall service. Tshirt & tank top selection was lacking a whole lot compared to a year ago. I give them another year before they close. read more

Vans - Women's Clothing Near Me - Kahului, Hawaii

This vans store was a little on the small side.. BUT staff was very friendly and quick to help out :) so A+ on that part.. I was just visiting Hawaii so it was nice to be able to buy stuff there that was Hawaii exclusive that I couldn't get from San Diego! That was a plus. Other than the store being small, not a whole lot of selection, and no parking because it's on a main strip there by 8347892347 other shops, I have no complaints. read more

Vans has been my favorite kinda shoes since Intermediate school days. Not only for the comfort but for the style is a bonus to me. I was super stoked when they opened up at Queen Kaahumanu Shopping Center last year. Every week I always check to see if they got new styles. I got into the slip on's more, now that I am pregnant its hard to bend down to tie my shoe laces sometimes so the slip on's really helped. I am very disappointed on the customer service over there, they dont greet you or ask if you need help. I always have to ask if they could help me get a size & after they give you your sizes they just walk away. It's a pain in the ass when you have to go find them in a small store. It's just a shame, they need new workers or they need to work on their customer service asap!! read more

Been here 5 times and not once i've been greeted or helped. I've been to many vans store in the US and by far, this have the worst customer service ever. The employees would just pass me without even saying hello or asked me if i needed help. I seen one of the employee on his phone. And the rest all talking to each other. I also made a direct eye contact with one of them, yet no help. Normally i dont write reviews but this is just ridiculous. Oh and i forgot to mention, i was the only customer there. With 4 of them working on the floor, not one single help. Dont think ill be buying shoes here anytime soon. read more

They need to check their shoes before selling them. I bought a pair of shoes for my niece, opened them when she finally fit them, they sold me 2 left pairs, 2 different sizes. Came to this store right at opening, the lady seemed irritated with me and rolled her eyes that i was there?? Mind you, they opened late.. was looking to get some new shoes and asked for the price, however, they were unhelpful and just told me to wait. I've heard that their customer service is bad at this location, but that one lady Britney, was just plain rude. I'm disappointed with the customer service here. Their selection is like any Van's store- a little on the smaller side, but hey, it's Maui. I've gone here three times. Once on Christmas, once on New Year, and once recently. The female manager never greets us, even though we were the only ones in there all 3 times. I'm not exaggerating either. It's pretty disappointing when you have to ask employees for help after awkwardly meeting eyes with them for 10 minutes. We sat down today, and that didn't even illicit any acknowledgement. They didn't have anything left in a size we needed in several different styles, but the manager was so unapproachable that I didn't feel it was worth explaining the inconvenience. I hate writing reviews like this, but hey- maybe it's worth taking a step back and asking yourself if you're the reason the store is as empty as it always is. I'm relieved to read recent reviews that validate how I feel. If your customers never feel welcomed, c'mon man... time to change it up. read more

Went in this past Saturday Night for the Pre-Black Friday Look Around. Vans was the original shop my kids wanted shoes from but I'd figure I'd Check out Journeys and Zumiez. They didn't have what i needed and one shoe my son wanted he insisted he get from Vans. It was like a Boot Looking Timberland shoe . Finally went into Vans the the two guys working said Hello to us in the funniest way that even I had to laugh aside from my kids. I brought a list of the shoes that everyone wanted and it had at least 10 pairs. Like Vans is his life, one of the guys ( the football player looking guy ) pulled each of the shoes from the list off the shelf and showed me within a matter of seconds. My kids instantly asked for their sizes so the other guy went to measure there feet and grab their sizes. When the sizes came out they laced up their shoes the "Vans Way" as my kids put it and grabbed them socks to try them on with. My kids loved the shoes so much and begged me for them and even had the two guys beg me to get them . After like 5 minutes of persuasion and compromising we were almost out and then the guy in glasses shows us this Water and Stain Protector made for Vans shoes that " we just had to have" as he put it " I'd be the cool mom". So instead of Just looking for the Upcoming Deals I ended up spending money right than and there which honestly I had no problem with because the customer service was the over the top beyond my expectations my kids and i were treated like the only shoppers that evening.A majority of the stores and shops honestly don't have the best customer service, but this stores got it!!! this store is not the best but is pretty good the most common problem is the greetings they don't really greet you when you walk in. but another one is more employee's because only two people work, they could have three for skateboards, shoes, and at the register. read more
