We then called them and were told there was nobody available to talk to. Almost a week later they called us and apologized. We had the phone call and set a date. A little while later Lowe's sent us a confirmation for a different date so we tried to contact Ergeon at the number they gave us and no answer. Sent a text, no response. Two days later sent another text, no response. Two days after that tried to call, no answer and no response again to text. Called Lowe's who tried to call, no answer but they left a message for them to call us. Almost two days later they finally called and had an attitude. We told the guy all we wanted was a 10 second confirmation for the date and time because Lowe's gave a different one than them. He said he always tells people to ignore that from Lowe's but he never told us that. Again, he apologized. They were supposed to come out and go over everything but a different co, Innovation Fence, came over who told us they sub for Ergeon, so this is the 3rd co. We went over everything and set a date for install. They came out with yet a 4th company to help and put the fence up. On top of the price we were charged an additional $300 to have dirt removed. Literally a few days after install, a whole section of our fence fell down and 4-5 of the post caps blew off in minimal wind. We called Ergeon, no answer. Called Innovation Fence and the guy said he would come fix it. He came and the problem was he cut the top rail too short so it wasn't holding the fence panels in. He fixed it. Over the next week we spent time asking neighbors for our post caps that kept blowing off, finding them in the street where two got smashed... We went online and bought several and had to silicone them on ourselves after paying almost $16,000 for a fence! It is disgraceful that this is how Lowe's lets their customers be treated, how Ergeon treats the customers they were given through Lowe's, and the work the other fence co did! Our son who lives right down the road, had his fence installed by Direct fence and his looks much better, cost almost half, had no extra cost for dirt removal costs, and he has had zero problems! I own Mitchell Precision Builders. Frank from FHC Construction hired me to build a dormer for…read more$2,800. Day one, he rushed me in before demo was even done. Day two, plumbing was being run through the dormer -- which should only happen after framing -- and the homeowner had to come back himself to remove it so I could keep working. Then we hit a major problem: Frank's blueprint was no good because he didn't account for a chimney directly in the way of the dormer. The elevation showed no chimney, and the floor plan wasn't labeled with one -- it's all visible in my finished dormer video: https://www.canva.com/design/DAGvonj3-Mk/watch. We couldn't build what was on the print. I worked with the architect to redesign it -- raised the height, widened it, changed materials -- while Frank dealt with the township and had to resubmit a new blueprint. I even picked up some of the new materials myself. I issued a $1,000 change order for the required fixes, which Frank agreed to in writing. Then he got disrespectful. On the last day, I finished the dormer without him ever showing up, even though he said three times he'd bring payment. At 10 PM, he dropped a check in my mailbox for only the original amount. Since then, he's blocked me on every platform. We even had additional work lined up for my company that is now canceled. This whole ordeal has left me at a -$200 profit, pushed back my other projects, and caused problems with my subcontractors due to rescheduling.
