How convenient and good timing. So I said okay and I wasn't going to work with them because the timing was suspicious. But I said that I would still work with them. So we scheduled another day. I received an email asking if they could come out on a specific day and I said yes but I guess I didn't respond that same day and that was a problem. The next email I got was a response with the another date almost two weeks later. I asked what happend to the earlier date and I was told the sales rep books up fast and they got booked and then the asked me if I wanted another sales rep and I said yes and asked what time could they make it. The final email the sent me said after checking they don't service my area. Like really?! I already gave them my address the first time we talked, and now y'all don't service my area? Which is the Philadelphia area. That's real strange to me and still confused by their actions and responses. I wasn't rude or anything. Maybe someone will have better luck with this company but I couldn't be okay without sharing this with whoever decides to contact this company and maybe they will see this and not do this to the next potential customer.

I've held off leaving a review until he finished my second project because he's a hidden gem. Once people realize how talented he is, you'll have to join a waiting list to hire him. Mike possesses a true mastery of his craft. I know a lot of people that would do a good job as long as there are no surprises. Mike will do an excellent job no matter the circumstances because he's probably seen it before and knows how to fix it. He has the confidence and knowledge to walk into a room and get to work. He's not going to call his manager or google the next step. He is the manager; he is the go-to guy. Secondly, he has a good eye for design too. For my vestibule, I had an idea of what I want. I explained it in my layman's terms and hazy descriptions and he saw what I was envisioning. I didn't need to over-explain it or draw a picture. He just got it. Also, and more importantly, he's honest. He gave me an estimate and stuck to it. That never happens. Anyone else would have charged extra when they discovered the subfloor was rotted, or when they saw a 10 degree slope in the corner. Mike didn't. He stuck to what he said and even fixed a few wall tiles in the kitchen - no charge. Not to mention, his prices are a bargain. People with half his skill, wanted a whole lot more. However, I met my match with the concrete floors on my patio, basement and garage which were covered in 60 years worth of tile and carpet adhesives, oil stains, cracks, pits, paint, and God knows what else. I called a few flooring specialists in the area and spoke with their secretaries. Then I called DCE and Justin the co-owner answered, he was even able to came out to my home the same day, look at the job, and offer his expertise. I liked that he quickly understood my needs, educated me, and reccomended a plan - grind everything, repair cracks, epoxy flake the garage + basment, and seal the concrete patio then add silica skid-free sand. Based on my market research, I knew that the quote he offered for the work was very reasonable. DCE's other co-owner Jordan and his crew (all really excellent guys) completed the project quickly, but with the utmost care and attention to detail. Their results were phenominal!
