So this review is personal yet meaningful. I hope I succeed in sharing some insight and positivity…read moreto you all! This week I had had to take a visit to see the specialist to see Dr. Rangarajan. For the past couple of years, I had not been feeling like myself and things started to escalate the end of 2025. Long story short I have been having random fainting spells. I'm very winded just doing the simplest things like going up a flight of stairs, extreme fatigue, and just not feeling like my normal self. The last straw was an evening out with my sister and me having a random fainting spell while dining at a restaurant. She had never seen this happen to me and it was very scary and eye-opening which led to Dr. Rangarajan at Piedmont Heart Institute Brookhaven Cardiology. I must say my visit was very enlightening, very resourceful. Dr. Rangarajan was very thorough showed compassion and demonstrated stellar bedside manners! Even his physician assistant was top-notch. I left feeling educated of the necessary steps, he's taking to ensure we get to the bottom of why I'm having the fainting episodes and find a resolution which brings me sense of relief. Just a note to everyone please take care of your health, especially your heart and vascular health. It has no age limit. My significant other had an unexpected heart attack January 2025 at 43 years young. I'm so thankful he's still here with us! However, it doesn't always turn out this way as six months later we lost two friends and a family member to massive heart attacks all well in their early to late 40s. I'm grateful to have found a specialist who cares about my well-being and is taking his time to ensure all the necessary screenings/ test are scheduled. Do not wait for an ache or pain to get checked. Please take the time to go get your screenings. Make your heart health your priority! If you are looking for a cardiologist, I highly recommend Piedmont Heart Institute Brookhaven Cardiology. Ask for Dr. Rangarajan. The office building is visible & easy to access off of Peachtree Rd. The office building is connected to a Walgreens pharmacy. There is plenty of "free" parking in the parking garage. I did not get as many photos of the office as intended but I'll try to remember my next visit. I hope this review was helpful.

Forward has billed itself (I'm paraphrasing) as a revolutionary medical practice. I guess it was,…read morein a sense, when it was new a few years ago. Now it is yet another Silicon Valley/Wall Street money grab that is making investors wealthy while furthering the deterioration of our nightmarish private medical system. The founders are from Google and Uber. I won't go through all the details of my saga, but I will say they are not part of the solution, they are the highest expression of the problem. (so far.) Their office in Atlanta is in the middle of the Buckhead shopping district. Inconvenient and ill-advised. You can't call them on the phone. The Star Trek diagnostic equipment in the lobby does nothing more than weigh, take blood oxygen levels, maybe body temperature. I can do that at home daily. I also have my home blood pressure machine. Eventually I saw the doctor because of an issue, but I had to fight to get an appointment and the doctor seemed as if I had interrupted her day. The real issue is the App. Constantly asking for information, always insisting. The patient must chat with what seem like multitudes of robots. The app nags and nags. When I realized I was spending as much time on the Forward app as Facebook, I realized it was time to quit. I never got the promised "baseline" visit or the skin cancer scan they advertise. Reading Google reviews it seems the closer one is to San Francisco, the better the experience. I decided to resign my subscription. The app immediately locked me out, so I couldn't look over whatever medical information was on it. But they did manage to charge my credit card again. I notice on another review site that they're lately shifting more to "wellness" from traditional medicine: weight loss, fitness, etc., and backing the "primary care" label. That means $150/month for advice you can get on Instagram free. Nobody mentioned prescriptions, injections, injuries, EKG, x-rays, or whatever we used to go to doctors for. You are expected to use the app. The only number that is answered is sales. They refer you to specialists or for low resolution video calls - could be anywhere. I suggest trying to find a more traditional practice for medicine and a Nintendo for games.

After only two appointments and three visits (one visit was a blood work prequel to the following…read morephysical) I am confident that I have a new, reliable internist in Atlanta. Though the office is home to three medical doctors, I have only been seen by Dr. Michelle Evans and I have been very happy with her approach to working with me and with the ways that she has proposed to treat my recent bout of migraine headaches. Now, when it comes to scheduling appointments I am a little old-fashioned and I generally will do whatever I have to do to speak with a live person to set something up. However, this does not seem possible with Buckhead Internal Medicine and when it came time to schedule a physical and then to go in seeking medical treatment I have had to use their email-driven system of scheduling or to call the answering machine there and leave a detailed message regarding the nature of my request. I will admit, they make this system efficient and it works quickly and accurately; I need to get over my worn-out methods. They have always been super-prompt in responding to me and have worked with me very well to fit appointments into my somewhat hectic schedule. I really like Dr. Evans at BIM because she, as well as her assistants and colleagues, is very personable and thorough and neither over-treats or explores avenues that are just unlikely, expensive and unnecessary. In the past, numerous physicians have put me through extensive testing and a gauntlet of procedures that have provided nothing in the end. Today I was pleased to receive a shot and a small prescription that should nip what is most likely ailing me early on so that I can back in working order almost instantly. In addition, parking is always available, though for a fee, and the fact that they are located on the Piedmont Hospital campus allows them to provide quick services to patients that might not be so readily available were they located further away from such a large variety of medical service providers.

I have both Dr. Gibbons and Dr. Monahhan as my physicians, and I couldn't be happier! They are both very knowledgeable, attentive, and they make you feel very comfortable throughout your entire visit. The office uses an electronic method to communicate and share lab results, and I think it is very effective and helpful. It's called Mychart. I've been able to also communicate directly with my physicians regarding any problems or concerns. The staff is very nice as well. In addition, I can request prescription refills, check my lab results, and look over what was discussed during my visit. I love it! Very convenient!! I absolutely love my physicians and I am very happy that I have finally found my primary doctors! Thank you Dr. Gibbons and Dr. Monahann!!
