Don't go to STAT Wellness. There are far better wellness clinics in Atlanta with more knowledgeable providers, stronger communication, and a genuine focus on patient care over profit. Unprofessional communication, disorganization at every step, lack of medical depth, and a disappointing level of follow-through have made this one of the worst healthcare experiences I've had. My Experience: I began seeing Jacqui Bartholomew, Family NP, at STAT Wellness in April 2025 for help identifying hormonal and GI imbalances I've struggled with since IVF several years ago. From the start, scheduling was disorganized - two separate people (a "patient specialist" and front desk) responded to my messages in their app, leading to multiple appointment mix-ups. STAT requires an extremely detailed health history, lab uploads, and background forms, yet I'm still unsure that information was ever used. On more than one occasion, I reminded Jacqui of personal & maternal health history she seemed unaware of, which changed her recommendations. Cost: The initial visit was around $900. It did include an InBody scan - which, ironically, is free at most gyms but request for an update at my first in-person follow-up 6 months later was told it would be a couple hundred dollars ha. The first session was mostly conversational, and while Jacqui's tone was warm, her answers were vague or dismissive. Follow-up was painfully slow; it took nearly four weeks (April 22-May 19) for her to provide a plan. Caveat, some of the delay was due to continued scheduling mishaps mentioned above & a 1 week reschedule on my behalf. The follow-up visit was 30 minutes virtually just enough to skim lab results (and this wasn't free, it's another ~$200). My questions about blood levels were inconsistently answered - often with "false positive, don't worry about it." I was told to do the Whole30 diet, but no guidance was provided on implementation, reasoning, or reintroduction. The written notes afterward didn't include any pertinent details from our call. I have call recordings and documentation showing this gap. Jacqui also recommended electrolytes, suggesting I purchase specific in-house or branded options - none of which were Whole30 compliant. When I asked about the contradiction, the response (from a nurse via the app) was simply, "Jacqui says it's okay" or to make an at home version with OJ and coconut water. The communication setup was odd; you never actually hear from your provider directly. By my October follow-up, things had only worsened. Check ins are through the app and limited to patient-directed, many times I'd wait 1-2 weeks without a response. I never was asked how things were going, given guidance on whole30 reintroduction, asked if symptoms were improving based on the new supplements I was prescribed (through their in-house service, of course). Jacqui was about to go on maternity leave, and I tried to be empathetic, but if you're charging thousands for medical care, patients deserve focus and clarity. She again couldn't answer basic questions about my labs or protocol and told me the follow-up InBody scan would cost extra - for a machine that takes 60 seconds to use and is free elsewhere. By then, I had spent nearly $2,000 at STAT with little to show for it. Since leaving, I've done my own research, consulted other NPs, and even had AI analysis of my labs - and much of what I was told at STAT doesn't line up. When I finally sent feedback expressing my disappointment, the clinic offered a complimentary 30-minute consult with a different provider. I'm still undecided if I'll take it, it's currently scheduled for next week, but I wanted to share my experience in hopes others can make more informed choices. Bottom line: I wish I had something positive to say about STAT Wellness, but I simply don't. The care felt shallow, transactional, and misaligned with their stated mission. Save your time, your money, and your trust...there are many better wellness clinics in Atlanta.

This review for anyone that is struggling with toxin exposure from mold or Lyme or has chronic EVB…read moreand even heavy metal poisoning. This has been a very long and expensive and Traumatic Journey. "Dr.Bindiya pointed me in the right direction for healing" . I had multiple misdiagnoses from Specialist and the ER. "Dr. Bindiya and she knew better and helped me." Eventually I had to see specialist in California trained in the doctor Shoemaker protocol which was for the best . Once you are removed from the exposure which is (very difficult because mold is every where )and you still are very stick you may have condition called CIRS =chronic inflammatory response syndrome. This condition affects every system of your body and causes brain inflammation which will add to the brain fog feeling hungover. I had to get a Nuro quadrant MRI to prove this Inflammation was in the brain it can also show it there is atrophy. I had to see doctors that were trained Dr. Shoemaker's protocol and familiar with Dr. Neal Nathan's Modifications for hyper sensitive people like me. Toxin exposure affects every part of the body from your brain, nerves , eyes, stomach , hormones and even your automatic breathing , blood pressure/heart rate. You can develop dysautonomia and mass cell activation .It's truly awful. You make look healthy on the outside and but be walking around feelings dazed and confused and very toxic sick hungover feeling , with pain, numbness, balance issues, micro seizures, tremors and severe light sensitivity , chemical sensitivity , so many other symptoms . For those that are suffering with this here are some things that helped give some relief. Hyperbaric oxygen chamber treatments by far gave the most relief and in a short period with in 30min (expensive but when you need relief very worth it) .I did 5 days a week for 90min for two months ) but with that I am not recovered unfortunately If you're very bad off like I am your doctor might prescribe you a portable oxygen unit .Ice packs for head and general over heating , avoiding hotels especially with window air conditioners. Also avoid using central air when you can and make sure your vents are cleaned. Ditch all house toxins products and I do mean all!! I was able to start eating /digesting again after using A combination-of Sovereign Laboratories Advanced Prebiotic Liposomal Colostrum Powder , and the liver and gallbladder detox by Andreas Moritz with modifications because of weakness . You When you have a chronic illness you need a doctor that can spend an hour with you, this condition is very complicated.Another thing that comes with is trauma ;Fear hormones shooting left and right ;this can make anxiety and even severe panic attacks a regular occurrence with this condition .Do your best not to watch anything that will increase adrenaline or add any stress, try sticking to comedy. Remove stressful people from your life.Releasing positive endorphins helps the most . Another thing I had to learn the hard way over exerting can cause less oxygen to your tissues and organs. Glutathione and vitamin C in liquid form will be your best friend and IVs are great if you can afford them. But the "Winning Star" after this long journey is the "biotoxin binder made by a brand called Cell Core" prove to be effective at removing the toxins with evidence of my lab tests, but also have the least negative side effects .I recommend going to doctor who does muscle testing. note under the Dr.Shoemaker protocol there two binders but I could not tolerate them well , they are Cholestyramine and Welchol. They caused me to suffer Herxheimer Reaction over and over again too many toxins coming out at once, but that was just for me ,others can tolerate it.) I also recommend get your hormones checked and regularly some of my levels were so low they were not readable by the lab. This information for those that are lost as I was.Always check with your doctor before doing anything new . I wish I had this information years ago and I truly hope this helps someone else.

Though the office is home to three medical doctors, I have only been seen by Dr. Michelle Evans and I have been very happy with her approach to working with me and with the ways that she has proposed to treat my recent bout of migraine headaches. Now, when it comes to scheduling appointments I am a little old-fashioned and I generally will do whatever I have to do to speak with a live person to set something up. However, this does not seem possible with Buckhead Internal Medicine and when it came time to schedule a physical and then to go in seeking medical treatment I have had to use their email-driven system of scheduling or to call the answering machine there and leave a detailed message regarding the nature of my request. I will admit, they make this system efficient and it works quickly and accurately; I need to get over my worn-out methods. They have always been super-prompt in responding to me and have worked with me very well to fit appointments into my somewhat hectic schedule. I really like Dr. Evans at BIM because she, as well as her assistants and colleagues, is very personable and thorough and neither over-treats or explores avenues that are just unlikely, expensive and unnecessary. In the past, numerous physicians have put me through extensive testing and a gauntlet of procedures that have provided nothing in the end. Today I was pleased to receive a shot and a small prescription that should nip what is most likely ailing me early on so that I can back in working order almost instantly. In addition, parking is always available, though for a fee, and the fact that they are located on the Piedmont Hospital campus allows them to provide quick services to patients that might not be so readily available were they located further away from such a large variety of medical service providers.
