Revive Atlanta is one of several functional medicine practices in greater Atlanta. Functional Medicine, at present, is not fully supported by our corrupt Pharma/Medicine/Food/Insurance broken system. So, it is largely pay-as-you-go concierge medicine. All Functional Medicine practices are similar: You pay a lot up front, or annually, and things like supplements that are not covered by insurance are paid out of pocket. What you do is get lots of labs and tests, patient and thorough explanation of results and health markers, then extensive training to move you from the SAD (standard American Diet) to a real food based nutrition plan adapted to you. If you are used to paying a $25 co-pay, this is not that. Instead, you have lengthy, information dense, clinical sessions seeking ways to correct root causes of metabolic dysfunction, the root cause of all chronic disease. Few in mainstream medicine are trying to make you well. They are "managing your symptoms" while coding and prescribing. Functional Medicine is the future if the Make America Healthy Again plans go into effect. The "Heart Healthy" label on Honey Nut Cheerios is a billboard for corruption in America. It's just starch with scant nutritional value other than calories. Our broken system allows them to lie on every cereal box because they all make money. Cheerios will prompt a blood glucose spike that stresses your cells and spreads inflammation. "Healthcare," at $4.5 Trillion is the largest part of the economy, the biggest moneymaker, and the fastest growing economic segment, even while people are sicker, less fertile, and dying sooner. Something has got to give and Dr. Bindiya is one of the good guys trying to stop the tsunami of declining health in America.
Since starting with Dr. Bindiya in 2023, I have lost 35 lbs, improved bio-markers for inflammation and nutrition, and am working to improve my basic metabolism biomarkers with Dr. Bindiya's help. One last thought. What is your health worth? What is it worth to have more energy? What is it worth to sleep better? What is it worth to improve your quality of life?
My wife just had one oral surgery. Over six grand out of pocket. One tooth. read more
