She told me that getting waxed would be a complete waste of money and that I should wait longer which okay I can understand not much hair but it's hair that bothers me. I don't want to wait a whole week or two to get it waxed. I make my own money and I would like to do whatever I want with it. So for her to dismiss me like I was wasting my parents money on some wax is insane. I already made an appointment here and I already made my way to this place just for you to tell me to put my shirt back on and go back home is crazy. I never had an issue waxing before and knew the risks. When the process was complete, I got up and looked in the mirror and my face had small bumps/hives. I asked Rosemary what they were and she said I'm having an allergic reaction, and recommended that I take Benadryl before waxing my face again.... I thought, OK, this is temporary. 3 days later and the hives have disappeared but my face has tiny acne bumps all over and it is ITCHY as hell. I don't know how long this will last for but it's not worth the money I paid. I wish Rosemary told me that I was having an allergic reaction WHILE she was waxing my face. I only found out after I looked in the mirror and had to ask what that was. She also missed a lot of the micro-hairs on my upper lip (and I usually thread my face which does a much better job of removing fine hairs). She is a really kind and sweet person but my sensitive skin did not react well to her products and waxing and I ruined a perfectly fine face for a painfully itchy acne-prone one. Not worth it.

As always I waited until the last minute to go to the salon before our trip, and the girls at Vanity Private Studio was able to fit me into a very tight schedule. I was in a rush to leave the house and unfortunately hit traffic on the way over there. To add to my misery, when I finally got there and went to pull out change for the parking meter when I realized that I did not bring any money with me! Apart from wanting to burst into tears, I decided to go in and let me know that I needed to cancel my appointment. To my total surprise, Liz decided to take me in anyway! I was so impressed I could not stop smiling. They trusted me and gave me both services upfront. Her next client was thankfully running late! I would never dream of not paying someone, but still, they did not know me at all and trusted me. Marlene is a true angel, she listened to my requests and concerns and provided me with an exquisite massage. Their signature massage is unmatched as far as I am concerned. Liz is fabulous! Ive been going to her for several years now and I think she is so good that I take my girls 17 and 12 for waxing and they love her. I run an alternative health center and I refer all my clients to her and they love her too. She is personable AND professional. She has a special technique where she uses different types of wax for different types of hair and its actually relatively painless and she never leaves wax or marks. She got me in the very next day with Jennifer. I got the hydro- me facial as a gift from my husband as a Mother's Day gift, -+ derma-planning add on. First and foremost loved Jennifer. She greeted me warmly; with such a sweet positive presence; she also apologized for the mix up. The studio is lovely and has all you could need, coffee, tea, feminine hygiene products in the bathroom! The small details, seems they have curated a wonderful place for us to come and relax and not worry. All in the small details. My facial was amazing, very relaxing. Jennifer was very attentive to my skins needs, she answered all my questions and concerned with my skin. I loved the facial massages, and the steam; the hydro facial was my first experience; I love how thorough it cleaned my pores! Jennifer inspected my face, and took care of any extraction in my problem areas. The custom facial mask paired with red light and green light therapy was a great ending touch. I left glowing and with my dry tired skin revived. Loved our conversation and loved my experience with Jennifer! Looking forwards to coming back to see her again.

I patronized this merchant eight times for hydro facials I bought via Groupon. For my first two…read moresessions, I saw Evelyn "Eve" Alvarez, the merchant representative and President of O Beauty Services who replied to my emails which are attached here. After that, I saw Jennifer and began requesting only her to give me hydro facials (which I scheduled in person with Jennifer immediately after each session). While I previously had no problem with Eve, Jennifer was my preferred esthetician as she was much more thorough and other little touches created a more comfortable environment. I saw Jennifer for five consecutive months...that alone speaks volumes. But on my last visit on September 4, 2025, Eve switched the booking I made with Jennifer on August 6, 2025 to herself without calling to inform me so that I could choose how to proceed. (Interestingly, Eve called and left me a voice message after seeing my subsequent, negative Groupon review.) Eve failed to perform the hydro facial service I bought and reasonably expected. She applied an enzyme mask to my face and used the hydro facial wand to remove it. That is NOT how a hydro facial works as the wand must touch the skin directly in order to properly perform its suction and serum delivery functions. In my four years of receiving hydro and HydraFacials at various merchants, no one has done this to me before (including Eve). Her actions gave my sensitive skin a negative reaction, and it's my understanding that an enzyme mask should not be applied during the hydro facial procedure, as it greatly increases the risk of irritation. Eve also rubbed a rough, DRY towel on my face upon removing product. Towels should always be warm and damp unless gently patting the skin dry (which didn't happen). Furthermore, during the light therapy portion, she said she'd leave it on for "about 10 minutes" which ended up being about five (I usually received red light therapy as my acne-free skin is naturally very dry, has mild hyperpigmentation, and I've always articulated that I want to reduce specific wrinkles but Eve chose blue light this time). In one of her replies, she lied and stated that my face "had quite a bit of congestion" (she never performed manual extractions or mentioned this on site) and that "the enzyme can create an accelerated purging and healing for 24/48 hrs, but then cools off"...another important piece of information which she conveniently omitted during my session yet stated in her email to rationalize her actions. I had no idea what I had yet to endure due to her willful negligence. On September 23, 2025, Eve denied my refund request. She stated that my account of my experience was an "exaggeration" (curious to know what the "exaggeration" is), I was "unable to acknowledge anything positive" (a wild exaggeration on her part or perhaps she forgot about OBS' positive replies to all the rave reviews I posted on Groupon before my last one), falsely claimed that I didn't communicate who my preferred esthetician was, and had the audacity to accuse me of an "overuse of Groupon vouchers," (yet another exaggeration of hers) despite Groupon's notification that customers "can purchase this deal an unlimited number of times." For the record, Jennifer is an exceptional esthetician but for whatever reason, Eve chose to sabotage my session and grossly overstepped boundaries by making decisions for me without my prior knowledge or consent. Not only did I pay for a service that she intentionally failed to provide but I suffered a breakout as well, which is something I haven't experienced in over 15 YEARS. My skin wasn't smooth, bright or moisturized the way it had always been after previous hydro facials at OBS. If you want to pay to be a guinea pig, have your trust violated and waste your time for poor service that breaches the basic protocol-including ethical etiquette-that licensed professionals like Eve are supposed to follow, and then have the offender minimize your ordeal and chastise you for calling her out on her egregious behavior, you've been warned. This nonsense wouldn't have occurred if Evelyn "Eve" Alvarez was transparent from the start. I deserve a full refund as the service I purchased was never rendered. *I've attached the correspondence I had with the merchant regarding this catastrophe. While the attachments may not have uploaded in order, please refer to the captions where I've numbered them in the order they should be read. There are 10 photos showing our email correspondence plus 5 additional photos for informational purposes. *On October 9, 2025, I received a "Cease and Desist" email where OBS' rep, Evelyn "Eve" Alvarez" has seemingly threatened me for sharing what occurred during my final visit. There's parking in a private parking lot, as well as a nice waiting area to lounge until you're called. There's a kiosk available for sign-in, and the space has actually been newly reorganized so that check-in is at the entrance. Love that! As for the lasering. This is my first time ever doing laser, and it seems different technicians give different time frames. At first, I was told to give it about 4-6 sessions, and then other techs started saying 6-8 as I was nearing my 6th. Maybe they all have different ideas or training, but it felt a bit uneasy at first, and I wondered if they'd keep moving the number as I continued treatment. I saw major results after the very first session. It took a second, and at first I thought it couldn't have worked, until 3 weeks in, I just so happened to realize my girly girl was almost fully bald! Haha, I didn't even realize! Then of course, some started growing back in, but that was an awesome result for a first session. Now that I've done my 6th session, I can say that it's pretty great and thorough, but I do have 2 stubborn spots. The annoying thing is that they have you shave before you come in, so you can't accurately show them the exact stubborn spot. I do wish they'd let me come in as-is and shave THERE after they located the stubborn spots, since I am basically spot treating now. They do have the time for it, as your booked window is 15 minutes, and the treatment part isn't even 5 minutes. Everyone is super nice, and people are clean. FYI, they will not do the inner part if you're on your cycle. This happened for my first session. I waxed before, and every wax technician allowed a tampon. Since lasering is less hands-on, and gloves are used, I assumed I'd be good to go with a tampon. But nope! She only did the top part, which I believe is why the inner area is more stubborn, because technically I got 5 treatments for that part, unlike the other parts. There are patchy spots on the top part too, so I know that's not the sole reason some parts still need treatment, but still. Just be mindful of your cycle when booking! I'll be back for my 7th session in about a week. Hopefully I don't need monthly sessions after this one. We'll see! It's definitely great value when using classpass, so no complaints there from me!

I got to meet Rachel, she's wonderful! Once we met and vibed, I am able to get scheduled with her on my preferred day/time and I have enjoyed meeting her monthly for my usual appointment and catch up. Shes so great and has referral ideas when I was looking for a place for dermaplaning or safe, cute outdoor places to explore in the area during my free time. If I have any questions or need to reschedule, she is a text away & so personable every time. With my appointment, the service is inclusive in how she is quick & thorough, and does a great job with the sugaring and exfoliating if need be. Her tips work well too! The exfoliating pads she recommends help after the first week of getting sugared and the after care is minimal if using those pads. Her studio is convenient and close by, with street parking on Ponca, which is easy and accessible.
