Liz is super nice, and I had a great experience at her studio. Her booking system was super easy - all online. I got the complexion control facial, (not knowing what kind of facial to get, as it was my first experience), but Liz pointed out that I needed the "Gentle Touch" facial instead, just a general exfoliation, pumpkin peel, extraction and a nice arm, shoulder and head massage. She was great to charge me for that, instead of the more expensive complexion control facial I had booked myself for. Liz was a great conversationalist, very friendly, and I'll definitely be back. This is the best place to get anything and everything waxed. Liz is the best. She talks you through it and makes you feel comfortable. She is so good, I never get weird bumps or ingrown hairs. She also does other things, like facials, which I just got done last week. She explained why my face was breaking out and spent a lot of time doing extractions and getting all the build up out of my skin. Liz does amazing work. Seriously, I'm a nervous waxer-- I hate pain and I get super, super anxious. My Brazilian with Liz was as painless as it gets. She talks to you during the procedure, which i think is key-- it keeps your mind off of things. Just yesterday she did my upper lip (her wax smelled like chocolate!) and we were done in six minutes. I never felt rushed or anything, she was just quick and friendly. I went to Liz for my first (ever) facial, and I left extremely satisfied. The boutique is cozy & welcoming, for sure, and Liz has a knack for making one feel immediately at ease. Her masks are not just organic, as folks have said, but she makes them herself. What blew me away was the fact that she never once tried to sell me product, in fact, she actually told me how I could make one of her masks at home. For a first time visitor, that scores huge points in my book. The extractions were many, but relatively painless, and I was surprised to leave with only minimal blotchiness. I've been going to her consistently for a few months now and she didn't have any appointments available before an emergency business trip I was taking. I've never had a preference for who did my eyebrows or bikini wax. But when I moved to the area and saw Liz's reviews, I decided to make an appointment. Online appointments are easy by the way. Her place is cozy, just a little hard to find at first. [Go early if it's your first time - give yourself some time to explore lol.] Liz is super nice and professional. She's genuine and easy to talk to, especially during those "private" moments ;) The best part? Her place and her technique are CLEAN. It's really nasty when aestheticians don't wash their hands or double dip the stick they use to put your wax on, UGH. Liz is the exception!!! She washes her hands and uses new sticks. I'm only mentioning this because I work in the health industry and cleanliness is AND SHOULD BE important to everyone. :) Liz is the only one I go to for my waxing needs. I highly recommend her!!
