This is a review of the business, both corporate and Memphis franchise ownership. I signed up for S Pass and didn't use it as much as I thought I would, ending up with over $300 in credit for services. I asked the manager if it would be possible to pause membership and still use my credit before resuming. She told me that she could remove my payment method from the account, the membership would still be active, I could use my credit, and add a payment method back later on. Perfect. Except that not only did this suspend my membership, and so did not work the way it was explained to me, in the intervening month the entire program was discontinued. Corporate headquarters informed me that (though when signing up for the Pass there was no indication that I was entering a contract with anyone other than the corporate entity), they took no responsibility for this or the fact that there was NO NOTIFICATION of the termination of the program sent to members. They flatly refused any assistance and told me it was the Memphis franchisee's responsibility to resolve the issue. I called the manager again. She returned my call saying that I could at least begin paying the monthly fee again and not be out the over $300 that I had lost. I went into the store to do so and had booked a service as well. When I arrived, I was informed that I could not, in fact, do this. I was provided a free service that day (the manager, to be fair, was as helpful as I think she was able to be at this point), but am still out a fair amount of money. I hate that I cannot continue to visit Tiana for service - again, she is fantastic - but I cannot give business to an establishment that wouldn't even offer to split the difference on a gift card to keep a loyal customer.

I had an appointment Thursday August 26th at 2:15 for a color and style. I came 30 minutes earlier but I sat in my car for 15 of that 30 and then I went inside. I sat waiting for my stylist. She had a client so I waited. People came and went and I waited. Finally I had been there for 45 minutes and my stylist never acknowledged I was there. I even went past her to go to the restroom and she never spoke. Finally I told the lady at the desk I was leaving. Why schedule appointments if you don't keep them. This isn't the first time but the longest. I thought she would have contacted me since she is the owner. I am really hurt. I loved the place and the stylist there. I wont go back.

She informed black customers that she had run out of punch cards, so they couldn't get $12.00 off their next visit if all six were punched out. Walked in did the check in and then was seated pretty quickly. I showed the nail tech my inspo pic which was a basic French tip. When she was shaping my nails, she angled the file up which made all my nails angle upwards. I mentioned to the tech that the shape and angles look off and she said it's because my nail beds were short. I've been to many other techs and shaping was never a problem and was never told that by them. When I went to pay I was shocked to see $96. I honestly have never paid that much for such a basic set of nails. Couldn't even imagine if I tried to get something different. I will say that the atmosphere was nice but other than that I don't think I could ever bring myself to ever get nails here again or pay such a ridiculous price.
