Had a gooey center. Pretty intense for breakfast, but you can save some for later in the afternoon for a pick me up.

My best guess is that it's just the English muffin wasn't as sturdy as I'm used to and I'm used to it that way. The peas a la salt came over sourdough bread with bacon, black pudding and a poached egg. Same as the Bennedict, it was all yummy, but not amazing. The peas were very far from mushy (which is good), but maybe could have been a bit firmer. Things just didn't quite come together the way I would have hoped.

We were all pleased with our choices. We initially sat upstairs at the window seat but when we went downstairs to the toilet the children spotted a small play area, so we decided to move downstairs to have our cakes. The staff were great and came and helped us move everything downstairs. The kids played and we got to enjoy our tea, hot chocolate and cakes. I had chocolate cake and my friend had carrot cake. We shared them with the kids and still couldn't finish them. The chocolate cake was home made and moist I really enjoyed it.
