Bad Review of Car Mart of Lawton, OK…read more My niece visited Car Mart of Lawton and had one of the most disappointing experiences imaginable. Upon arriving, she was greeted by a salesman who seemed more interested in his personal comfort than the customers. Think she mentioned his name being Leonard or Lonnie. My niece told me, throughout their conversation, he had a strong odor of marijuana, which made the atmosphere quite uncomfortable. The selection of cars was underwhelming, and many vehicles appeared to be in poor condition. When she asked about the history of a particular car, the salesman was evasive and seemed to be stalling rather than providing clear information. It felt like he was more focused on making a quick sale rather than ensuring customer satisfaction. To top it off, the prices were inflated compared to similar models she found at other dealerships. She left feeling very uneasy about their practices and unwilling to recommend this place to anyone. Save your time and look elsewhere for more professional service and a better selection.

This is the worst place to buy a vehicle. First off they are to high with their interest rates, and…read morethe staff is always rude. Lonnie cant be trusted and all he is wanting to do is sell you a car and not have a care in the world what condition it is in. David, he doesn't know anything about vehicles, and cant even help you when it breaks down or even have shops relay to him properly, he even tried to pull the wool over your eyes as he tries to explain the problem, but it is related to something else. My vehicle has been in the shop for now over 8 times for the same issue and all they want to do is still take your payment, no matter if you can drive or not. ZERO STARS

CDJR in Lawton, OK; Service Department almost destroyed my cars engine or worse. On 11 February…read more2026, I took my car (2023 Challenger Scatpack) with 15k miles into the Dodge dealership for an issue I was experiencing with my drivers side window. After they diagnosed and ordered a part for that issue, I was on my way back to work, or so I thought. About 2 miles down the road my battery indicator light came on, then a strange squealing noise started underneath my hood. I immediately pulled over, looked under the hood, only to see my balled up serpentine belt staring back at me. My PCV valve hose also decided to join the shenanigans. I am extremely meticulous with my vehicles. I strongly believe that the technician during the initial routine 27 point inspection, removed my drivers side valve cover to get to my oil fill cap. Which wasn't put back on properly and my oil fill cap had oil/grime all over it. So I know the technician serviced that area. Either he accidentally or intentionally removed the pcv valve hose which was never reinstalled, which fell into the drive pulleys and caused the serpentine belt to jump off. As of today 18 February 2026. A new A/C compressor is going to be installed onto my car because I was informed it had failed. I also have a video of the dealership driving my car into the maintenance bay without a serpentine belt on it and my hood completely open. The technician drove it this way for about 1000 ft. If this happened to me, I'm fairly certain its accepted practice.

Upon taking possession of the vehicle and driving it home, I discovered the following: - The undercarriage was covered in caked, dry mud. - The engine compartment was heavily covered in dust. - Weeks later, during the first interior clean up I found dry mud boot prints on the carpet, concealed under the rubber mats. - At 1,700 miles, I discovered the air filter was covered in dirt, debris, and oily fingerprints, suggesting a used part may have been swapped into my "new" vehicle. These conditions indicate the vehicle was likely abused or taken for "joy rides" prior to being sold to me as a new unit. When I brought these concerns to the dealership management, I was given the run-around and only offered a tank of gas as a resolution. Furthermore, as more issues began to emerge, such as the mileage of 19 as indicated on the original document I signed to proceed with the purchase contradicted the 25-mileage recorded on the documents I later received to register the vehicle with the local Tag Office. This and the aforementioned deficiencies are clear indicatives that the vehicle I test drove was not the vehicle I ended up with. I escalated my concerns to the manufacturer's headquarters, but was told they could not intervene as the dealership is an independent entity. As someone new to the state of Oklahoma who has purchased multiple vehicles previously without issue, I am appalled by these unethical business practices. This experience has turned what should have been a proud milestone into a nightmare. My advice to anyone in search for a new vehicle is to stay clear from Lawton DCJR, as this dealership appears to have serious issues delivering goods and products acting more like mafia syndicates than an honest business establishment.
