Seems weird, in a pediatrician's office with all those kid germs. Washing hands after your kid is crawling all over the floor is key.

I admire her greatly as a pediatrician. Fast forward almost 8 years and Dr. Neelam Khadke has joined her in practice. I have been seeing Dr. Khadke for the past few months. She has been caring and great with my children. This past week we were dealing with an infection that has been hard to treat and emotionally overwhelming for myself and my family. She went above and beyond to make sure my children were ok and well cared for. She payed attention to my emotional well being and state of mind during this too. I will never go to another practice. A pediatrician you can reach for any of your concerns. Not having to go through holds or call center or agree to pay a fee just to get through to doctors answering service for them not to even call you back. She's a doctor who will be there, she seems to truly care about her chosen profession. There's never much wait in her office, because she books patients apart so they all have the time they need. After each appointment we also receive a detail email about the visit and what to watch out for. She is incredibly knowledgeable, and constantly keeping up with most current treatments and solutions. I remember asking about different kind of flu shot at our former pediatric office, because my son's arm get really painful and swollen each time, but no other option was ever available. We walked in her office, told her his problem, she gave him a nasal spray vaccine, took 2 seconds, done. No reaction what so ever. She also really tries to help cut our cost, whenever she can, by offering information about any applicable reduced/free RX. I do feel an additional sense of security when I know dr Verma is my Children's doctor, she cares and makes time to see you kids when they are in need. Highly recommended.

Of the group, Dr. Teresa Manocchio (pronounced like Pinocchio) is my all-time favorite. She has a warm bedside manner and an honest, down-to-earth personality. She's a natural. The entire staff including nurses and receptionists (who can validate parking) are great with children and their parents. In the waiting area, there's a spot for parking strollers and Nemo and Dory impersonators in a fish tank that separates healthy and sick patients. While receptionists can book appointments, online scheduling's available on a "patient portal" for $69/year for one child (and $30/year for each additional child). Visit notes, recommendations, and vaccine information are shared on the portal but more importantly, future appointments are easier to schedule with any doctor you wish. For regular check-ups, bringing a blanket helps keep babies warm when they need to be stripped to their diaper. One time I forgot and had to use my hoodie. Wait times typically range from 5 to 15 minutes. The staff's pretty mindful of keeping healthy kids away from exam rooms previously occupied by a sick child. The doctors use current best practices and fully answer any questions. They also perform ear piercings for $100 which includes a starter pair of earrings from a selection of 5 choices. I suggest bringing a book or toy as a distractor for immediately after the piercing. For semi-emergencies, you can call for a same-day appointment with the doctor on duty. I love this group so much that I recommended them to my brother's family. It's a matter of trust.
