Carlie showed up with a beautiful smile on her face every appointment. She has a can do attitude and would listen patiently to any health concerns I had. Patiently, she would answer positively and always offer any help possible. One stair step was difficult but she made it fun. She would say "It was a once in a lifetime accident, it happens. Don't be worried. You will get stronger. I will help you feel confident on the stairs again." She provided me non-stop hope and cheered me every time I was able to do more. I passed my test and Carlie will be cheering someone else along. Her beautiful spirit fills your room and air with encouragement. Carlie said goodbye and offered a hand up if I needed it in the future. She wanted me to feel comfortable becoming independent again. I have been profoundly blessed by the presence of this beautifully spirited angel in my life!! At first, I felt that I didn't need a therapist. I didn't want a serious, self centered person showing up. I was terribly incorrect because Carlie was from a different mold. She made me look forward to getting strong again. She understood my medical trauma which I was recovering from, too! If I could give Carlie 20 stars, I would. I feel stronger and more confident and don't feel frightened going up my stairs. I can hear Carlie's helpful advice all the time telling me to slow down/pay attention/be more aware. I would rush doing ten things at once. I'll miss my chats with Carlie but I'm thrilled she will be cheering another patient along with her positivity and you've got this spirit!

In May 2024, after intensive cancer radiation therapy, I had severe back pain and my insurance company, Aetna, recommended several In-network PT clinics, and I chose Excel, a division of IVY rehabilitation. After two helpful sessions in which I paid the required In-network co-pay, there was a kerfuffle about whether the assigned therapist was In or out of network which would have impacted my financial responsibility for the sessions. Thankfully, it appeared that the matter was resolved as In-network, and I moved on. Fast-forward to January 2026 and Ivy rehab reneged on accepting my insurance and invoiced me for several hundred dollars and threatens to ruin my credit rating by moving to collection if I don't pay now, 19 months later. Soul crushing! Even the Excel clinic director petitioned to have this invoice quashed but was denied by Ivy rehabilitation headquarters. Therefore beware, even if Ivy rehab accepts your insurance today, they may crush your soul a year or even two years later. BTW, there is hope. A relative, using the exact same insurance, had a wonderful Soma and Soul experience with JAG rehabilitation. Go figure Soul survivor

I have recovered well from both a knee and shoulder replacement, one following the other in a few months,and had therapy with Kris before and after the procedures. My husband is dealing with a chronic condition requiring therapy over a long period and Kris has provided wonderful support and assistance to him. I cannot say enough about Kris' responsiveness, encouragement, and very calm demeanor. He listens well to all our concerns freely offering helpful suggestions. Marcus, Jordan and John have been very helpful as well seeing to it that we are being cared for. This Twin Boro facility offers an efficient and friendly environment where everyone seems willing to pitch in. There were several times when there were 6-10 patients there with only 1 or 2 physical therapists. The PT assistants were not good. They would approach me and ask "what exercises did you do last time"? Never checking my file or consulting with my "PT". I also thought that the staff had excessive conversations with each other about sports, places to eat and their weekends. I felt like I was at a "frat party" several times. Unprofessional in my opinion. They did not focus on the patients. They were quick to assign several exercises and then leave you to do them never supervising or checking if you were doing the exercises correctly. In addition, loud music was playing every time I was there ...the manager constantly changing it and checking in with the staff to see if they liked it. Really? The last appointment I had was a Friday at 3. There were 7 patients there while a baby shower (or some sort of party) going on during business hours!!!!!! All PT's and assistants were enjoying the party while we were sitting there for over 15 minutes waiting to start out session - SO UNPROFESSIONAL! I shared this with my Ortho Doctor and he said this was the only place he herd "not so good" things about this palce.

The shoulder injury was years ago so I'll be speaking on my experience so far with the ACL recovery process. When you walk in, there's a small waiting area enclosed by a partition and a window where you pay and check in. When you head back, you're greeted by Jeff, who is the physical therapist. Jeff, as well as everyone else there is very friendly and accommodating. He does a great job of showing you what to do, encourages questions, and does his best to ensure your comfort. Overall, no issues whatsoever. Just a nice guy who's good at his job. As for cleanliness and quality of equipment, I found nothing but good things. Jeff cleans the tables himself after each patient leaves and puts a fresh paper pillowcase on pillows for each patient. The rest of the facility is very clean. No dust or cobwebs, nothing broken or worn. The machines are all in good condition as well. As for who goes to see Jeff, while I've been there, it's been mostly older patients (40+), but I go during the day and school isn't out yet for high schools in the area. I'm an athlete in college and I have no issues here. Jeff was a wrestler when he was younger and knows that athletes want to get back to their sport as quickly as possible. Making appointments is easy and if you need to reschedule they are very accommodating.

NOT GOOD! Vicki creates a healing plan specifically with EACH individual in mind. :-) I also know that she REALLY knows what she's doing, because results say it all! The other times I came for sprains or other injuries, but this time it's after tendon surgery on my left foot. Vicki is directly above my podiatrist group downstairs, & can consult with my doctor who did the surgery. I was in a LOT of pain still before I started PT. I am now only in my second week of PT, & am starting to see a HUGE improvement in pain level & range of movement! I would recommend Innovative Physical Therapy highly, so much so that I will NOT go anywhere else! My rating: A++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++
