I have taken my kids here for years and they love it. The staff is amazing and so friendly. I have…read morerecommended this daycare to everyone i know and will continue doing so. Thanks for allowing me to have a peace of mind while I'm at work planet kids!

My son attended this daycare and I was extremely disappointed. I had a couple high school friends…read morethat worked there at the time and really felt that my son was in good hands. However, there were many days my son would have bite marks, scratches etc. that seemed to come from other children but none of the staff had any knowledge of the cause of the marks. They kicked my son out who had just turned 2 at the time. They said that my sons energy level was out of control and that he needed a personal aide. A personal aide helps with a child with special needs. My child does not have special needs so this was extremely frustrating and insulting. They said he could continue to go there the following week if I got him one. I told the gal I was just going to pull him out and he wouldn't be returning. His motor skills were and still are advanced for his age. There was a push door in his classroom that lead outside into their parking lot that my son would push open and they claimed it had to remain unlocked in case of emergencies. Apparently my son was the only child they ever had this issue with and so he could no longer attend their daycare anymore because it became a safety issue. My son was always unhappy and could not wait to go home when I came to pick him up. He was getting a bad write up almost every other day. Long story short, I got my son into a new daycare a day later and he has been there for almost a year now. He has been doing nothing but thriving since and LOVES his teachers and always has something to show off to me when I get there to pick him up. I am so HAPPY I got him out of there when I did! I would recommend considering many more other daycare facilities before picking this one. It's their job to take care of children and they couldn't even handle my son. ONE CHILD! The gal I spoke to even made a comment about not wanting to lose any staff because my son pushed her employees to the edge almost to the verge of quitting. That is ridiculous! Do not work with children if you can't handle them!

Bethel Christian Preschool is awesome :)! My 4 yo son has been going there for a year, and he…read moreloves it. They have a small staff and lower numbers of children in each classroom, so its less stressful for the kids. In addition, they are the base level of a church, so they have a big basketball court for the kids to play in every day, regardless of weather-- they can run all over and play with ride-on toys. Their curriculum is fun for the kids and they've had wonderful, creative enrichment activities the whole time he has been there-- musicians come and play instruments, field trips, a week focused on camping where they set up a camp site in the gym with like 12 giant tents, a picnic table, and a fake fire. My son has gotten excited about letters and numbers, and he's a pretty rascally guy, one that's hard to get to stay focused. They've done a wonderful job with him, and they have a very relaxed and inviting atmosphere. The teachers are so positive, patient, kind, and consistent. I keep taking him there because he's so happy, even though I have to drive way out of my way. Highly recommended :).

for the record, this was on record, so the director cannot deny this!…read more Today I called and I spoke with the director, and I asked them about their vetting and background process because I saw a post about one of their employees being accused of sexually assaulting a minor. She sighs and hung up the phone on me and said she doesn't want to talk about it or something like that! want to make this very clear for everybody. The director was made aware of the situation they chose not to act and they chose to ignore serious allegations like that. Which leads me to believe that the director supports and is OK with sexual assault going on in her facility. Thank you for showing me and the public what daycare not to take our kids to. The audio recording of the phone call will be posted online wihh the a long videos detailing how disgusting and okay the director is with what's going on!

The owner saved my life when I was a child here. Literally. I was a baby, stopped breathing due to…read morea seizure, and she did mouth to mouth as another teacher called 911. When I had my son nearly 30 years later and moved back to Spokane, we were lucky enough to get a spot here. My son had been to three other day cares (kinder care, then another center in CA, and a military child care facility). Out of all three day care centers, this one is by far the best. My son has separation anxiety from all our moves, but the staff here are wonderful and supportive. I stayed with my son for a few hours the first few days to help him adjust, and was very impressed with what I saw from the teachers and children. Whenever he had a hard time at drop-off, they scooped him up, re-directed him or comforted him. By the end of the day he didn't want to leave because he was having so much fun! The teachers are experienced and have great relationships with the kids; they teach them how to be good friends to each other and how to behave well to keep everyone safe. This was the place where my son learned how to play nicely with other children and start empathizing. When a child does misbehave the teachers are firm, but they still respect the child; all the kids see this and understand. They are truly treated like independent individuals, and the teachers help them realize that they can make good decisions on their own. While mine was their worst medical emergency (hopefully it stays that way), my son had his own mishap there. They called to tell me that he had bitten his tongue open when he fell, and it was a sizable wound. Of course I was very worried about him, and distressed that he got injured. But I knew they were more than capable of taking care of him while I drove over, and that they would have called 911 if it had been necessary. He didn't need stitches, and they were wonderful about warming up the mush I brought for him as his tongue healed. In addition to the social and safety aspects, this child development center and its teachers offer wonderful activities that run the spectrum of artistic, academic, physical, and more. My son always came home with inventive art projects, letters that he had practiced, and would sing new songs he had learned that day. They also give the kids plenty of time to run and play outside, even holding water play days and transportation days (where the kids can bring their tricycles to ride around outside). We are military, and unfortunately had to move. We were lucky enough to have our son at Fantasy Farm for a little over a year. If we had been able to stay in Spokane, I would have kept him there until he started elementary school, and probably would have had him in the after school and summer programs as well. This review might sound too good to be true, but if you visit and observe the classes, the kids and the teachers, you'll see for yourself that it is a fantastic place. I recommend Fantasy Farm to anyone without reservation.
