Good for recycling stuff like electronics, which the City of Vancouver isn't taking for some reason as of the time of writing. The place has that sickly spilled smell of old beer cans, like the other locations. Found the bins I needed and dumped my stuff. Hopefully it saves a tree.

Located in Richmond and open Tuesday to Sunday 9am to 6pm. You drive into the location in your car, drop the stuff you want to recycle, and drive off. The place is super organized with bins for various objects and the place is clean. I like that the bins have names on it with a picture for easy sorting. The people are super nice and helpful. If you are unsure about what they can take to recycle, there is a website and a phone number. I have been here a few times and consistently, the staff is courteous, upbeat and friendly. For only two staff working, they are fast, efficient and organized. During the down times, I see them sanitize the countertop and check the garbage. There is also a touch free basin to wash and dry your hands. Bonus, that the return price is better than other places ! Definitely worth the trip! The only little downside is that there is limited parking in the lot, but there are lots of side street parking neary.

I'm EXTREMELY tired of him. He counted my items with less value twice and did not want to pay me back the difference. Not just that, when I realized that he gave me a bit money less and informed him nicely, he even threw the money at me. Seriously, if he doesn't like his job, why even doing it? Also, this kind of employee will only bring down the company. Thus, my question is...why was he even hired in the very first place?

This location has been the cleanest return it depot I've been to…read more The service over last Christmas season was wonderful. The manager, Larry, was very welcoming, and extremely helpful. He even helped myself and other customers sort their bottles and move the trays. Recently though, he hasn't been in very much and the shop has clearly gone downhill fast. Other workers are rude, repeatedly ignore or yell across the room at customers instead of going over to help. I also find it inconsiderate and less inviting when I enter a shop where the employees are all speaking to each other in a language other than English. Just makes you wonder what they might be saying about customers that can't understand them. Young female employee said she didn't know if Larry was coming back. Happy to see he did come back because I was about to go find a different depot to give my business to.

As the old Alf dolls and toilets are covered over with dirt, it hurts to hear a Tickle Me Elmo utter it's last electronic breath. The real unfortunate thing was seeing the other users not use care when dumping and contaminating the pit. Remember, the Zero Waste and recycling centre is only a block away. Do not toss what might be recycled, think of the future generations give them this much, we've already taken the idea of property ownership from them.

We found Adam's Junk Removal & Yard Services through Craigslist, and it was a great find!…read more Adam was able to fit us in for some junk removal with little notice (contacted him on Tuesday for junk removal on Wednesday) for our business. He gave us a quote based on some pictures we sent, and the final price wasn't very much different (we kept adding stuff to the original pictures we sent him for the quote). In the end, we found him to be reasonably priced. It's a one-man show, but Adam was able to do it all. He was professional, courteous, personable, friendly and fast! He was also quick to respond to messages. We definitely wouldn't hesitate to recommend Adam to anyone, and we wouldn't hesitate to call on him again! Thanks Adam!
