Respect and dignity to the highest level of standards of care an individual could ask for. They may not have temperpedic matresses but their hospitality and trust of individuals was a surprise to me. VIP standards, and normalization to difficult and tough times. Appreciated the 1-1s conversations to go over my basic needs and my requests. We all emotionally matched perfectly and I got way more than what I could have asked for. Definitely a place I would volunteer and go back again when needed. It's not the place that made it great, it was the people and how they represented it. Made it a very pleasant and relaxing experience. I felt at home with the staff and other peers there, could easily joke around and politely tease one another as if right away is as if I could choose, I would be friends with all these people. I don't know how they felt about me, but there wasn't a person there I did not like. Thank you! Sincerely! Breakfast and lunch is self serve, family style dinner optional. If there was a place to experience family, this would be it.

They were originally transferred there from an emergency room and were in serious need of competent care. The staff at Lifeline was incredibly irresponsible and forcibly discharged my loved one on a Saturday evening, making it impossible to prepare a transition. Lifeline made no preparation for a transfer to a different hospital setting. My loved one at the time was very ill and was at risk of self harm and flight, but Lifeline Connections basically just kicked them out and arranged for a taxi to take them somewhere else. A taxi. My loved one was experiencing psychosis. No taxi driver is competent to transfer someone experiencing psychosis. This was horrifying to me and luckily I was able rush up there and to intervene and bring them to Unity Behavioral Health. The people at Unity were competent and caring. The staff at Lifeline were negligent and dangerously irresponsible. The place is clearly not being run by responsible medical professionals.

It's been almost a year since I spent 9 days at Rainier Springs for acute alcohol use disorder and…read morebipolar disorder. It was a very unpleasant experience that nonetheless helped me immensely. Rainier Springs is an inpatient psychiatric hospital that treats both psych disorders and substance use. It is not a detox or a residential treatment center even though it provides services along those lines. For this reason, it is a locked door unit and you have to surrender your cellphone. There are four optional groups a day and you meet with a doctor very very briefly most weekdays. They are not licensed to do any individual therapy so you don't have regular individual meetings with your therapist, but can talk to them and they do some case management. Staying even at a horrible county detox is more pleasant and relaxing, but the good news is, Rainier Springs actually treats psych disorders and does medication management. I was off all my psych meds and they started me on a med that still helps me to do this day, and almost a year later I'm functioning the best I have in years. You have to do a lot of your own case management and discharge planning, particularly if you are voluntarily rather than being on a psych hold, but they allow you to make phone calls for aftercare planning and I found a sober living where I spent several weeks after, before returning home and doing outpatient. There is a large population of houseless patients in Rainier Springs, so they are overwhelmed with finding people resources. Rainier Springs is an unpleasant but very safe and respectful facility that had a huge impact on me. I got safe and sober and was able to detox safely while restarting on psych meds. Almost a year later, I have six months completely clean and sober, I am applying to graduate school, and I have meaningful relationships with friends and family. While the staff at Rainier Springs didn't go out of their way to cater to patients whims, they were kind and respectful. If you are in an absolute rock bottom situation, I would recommend Rainier Springs. Certainly, it is better than jail, the streets, or being strapped down in a hospital.

They were very rude in telling me I have to take my clothes off, no empathy, or patients. I was crying and hugging myself and one of the staff said "okay! You can either strip or leave." They rushed every step that was supposed to be slow and threatened to kick me out of I didn't do it. They just don't REALLY care for the patients, they give no dignity, they see the patients there as animals essentially. They have a blank face when a patient is crying or having a panick attack. It's disgusting and their lack of professionalism and care is just as dehumanizing as their psychopathic behaviors they show their patients.

I'm in here for my follow up, and was a few minutes past my scheduled time, and the lady checking me in was like, "your almost late" and we almost need to cancel. Really? I feel this is a way to grab money and bill me directly instead of insurance. I would have been really upset. There was a ton of traffic on interstate and I was barely late. There's nobody in the lobby waiting. They aren't busy. Just annoying to even mention it to me. I knew I was a little late, but it wasn't a big deal. It is now an hour past my scheduled time, and they have not called me back though they want to mention I was 5 minutes late? Double standard? They are quick to charge me a "no-show" fee, but don't get me back for over an hour past my scheduled time. I'm lowering this from a three star to two star.

My moms case is Very complicated as she metabolizes medications extremely slow & Leanne was so sweet and caring to my mom; always figuring out ways for my mom to be as pain free as possible without compromising her condition. Now Dr.Platt has taken over my mom's care for the most part; since she received her pain pump. He's such a sweet guy! We've been so very lucky with the Docs & NP's there. Definitely be ready to keep up with Dr.Platt though, lol! He's a super fast talker I timed our visit once for a pump adjustment & no joke... 12minutes .07seconds! And that's With the nurse at the time, checking mom in & doing blood pressure! The Only reason I gave 4 instead of 5 is because about an hour ago I called to schedule a pump adjustment, after being on hold for nearly 10min someone literally picked up & slammed the phone back down. Of course I called back & the girl that picked up was very nice at scheduling my mom. However before I hung up I told her I'd called like 2min ago & after waiting a bit, I was rudely hung up on. The girl immediately shot icicles through the phone. Her tone completely changed & she was snippy. Her reaction to my complaint was "uhh, huhhm, I don't know what to say about that"... So I just said "ok thank you so much for scheduling my mom so quickly, have a nice day" & she swiftly ended the call with "Yeah! Bye!*CLICK*". I thought about making it 3 because two weeks ago I tried scheduling my mom & I'd been on hold for over 40min. That's not where I had the problem though. The problem was, I was given the choice to leave a message so they could call me back so I wouldn't have to spend (probably) another 40min waiting on the phone, but still keep my spot in the queue. So I did that. I did Not ever get a phone call back though. I tried 4 more times on 3 different days to schedule & waited over 35min each time. I left the message & waited for my call back each time, but nuthin. ‍ I believe they just Really need to revamp their phone system & possibly even the two girls working up front/on the phones. The past few times we've been there for my mom's appointments, the blonde in particular, has just been so snappy & rude with a pissy aura to her quite honestly. I'm sorry, I don't want to be rude because I adore the doctors & nurses there, but when you're working the front desk at a pain clinic, you really need to have a certain sensitivity with these patients. These people are having to navigate life while being in constant pain to some degree. I just think they need to really think about that part.

Locked, Loaded, and Radiated: My Recon at Legacy Salmon Creek…read more Marching into a hospital through a metal detector wasn't on my bingo card for the day, but apparently one lunatic with a gun years ago ratcheted security up to DEFCON 2. I get it--force protection--but it slows the mission down a bit. Once inside the wire, the front-desk crew were solid troops: friendly, efficient, and squared away. The radiology techs carried the same energy--professional, competent, and quick to execute. When my number came up, the procedure moved fast. The only real enemy contact was that cup of radioactive chalk they made me chug. Let's just say it hit like a flashbang to the gut ... RALPH! As a first-timer in this AO, I'll say this: the hospital is clean, organized, and staffed with pros. The security gauntlet? Maybe a little overkill--but I've seen worse, and if it keeps another incident off the blotter, I can live with the inconvenience. 1 Star - 13+ HOUR ORDEAL | DANGEROUS NEGLECT & ABUSE…read more My sister arrived coughing up blood at 12:30 AM. Her X-ray was finished at 3:55 AM, yet we were left in the waiting room with zero consultation or answers until 9:00 AM. Overall, we were stuck there for nearly 14 hours just to get a diagnosis. We didn't need a bed; we needed a doctor to review her results and tell us if she was safe. The front desk conduct was appalling. A receptionist named Marella told me she "DID NOT CARE" my sister was coughing up blood and intentionally flipped her ID badge to hide her name (a violation of WA law). Another staff member earlier that morning refused to provide a grievance form. While the clinical staff was kind and attentive once they finally saw us at 9:00 AM, the 13+ hour total time spent for a respiratory emergency is a massive safety risk. Formal reports have been filed with the WA Department of Health and Legacy Leadership. Avoid this ER.

She takes a holistic Christian approach which means the responsibility is on the patient to follow the healthiest course, rather than put all of the responsibility onto the doctor. I was looking at the other review by Cheryl A. and had to chime in with a review. It's common practice to sign an arbitration when receiving any kind of medical care. Arbitration forms are in every doctor, dentist, and medical spas because the people who sue for money know that doctors have the best insurance. Walmart also gets a lot of people filing suit for slipping on floors and what not. The reason you can't run around in stores is precisely for this reason, they don't want you hurting yourself and then blaming them. You don't give up your rights as a patient when you sign an arbitration, you give up your rights as a patient and human being when you deny your own responsibility for your health. An arbitration just means you agree to begin with an arbitration which examines the case to see whether or not it has grounds for a trial and is not just another frivolous lawsuit like people do when they sue corporations for spilling hot coffee in their lap while driving. I can't believe 13 people liked that review that gave Dr. Boyd 1 star. Never ceases to amaze me...
