They have padded floors in the classroom which after a couple days your knees will thank you for!! Consultation is done on a one-on-one basis in private treatment rooms and can include acupuncture, tui-na - which is Chinese massage and cupping - suction cups placed on you back and chinese herbs if you require them. The clinic is open Monday to Friday 9 a.m. to 1p.m. - and from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m. on Monday to Thursday. Walk-ins are welcomed especially in the summer as the clinic tends to be quieter. The treatments will vary from student to student - but I've had great experiences when it came to relieving lower back pain from too much wake boarding and waterskiing to relieving sore neck and shoulders from being hunched over at a desk studying. One treatment and I was pain free - I especially liked it when they applied electrical stimulation to the needles on my lower back as this seemed to go right into the muscles and relieve the spasm. On the flip side, the instructors are allowed to cancel with short notice for their own personal reasons. Our daughter's teacher has musical commitments a few times each year and this she misses out on lessons 4 or 5 times a year. The actual spaces can be hit and miss. Our daughter is in a small room in the basement, with very poor acoustic control, immediately adjacent the early learning room where very young kids clang and bang loudly on instruments including pianos and other loud instruments. Not very condusive to a quality private lesson environment for our child. In general we are happy.

The instructors are so knowledgeable and experienced that even in a beginner class you come out of it feeling like you can take on any project. And one of the best things about them, other than how incredibly affordable the classes are, is that they offer most of their programs in the evenings as well as during the day so those who work or go to school can still go.

And then they ushered me to meet with an advisor. The advisor asked me what program I had questions about, I responded I wanted him to tell me what to expect in general about the counselling tracts they offered. He then pulled up the web page and proceeded to tell me all the programs listed that they do not, in fact, teach. He told me they only actually offer 4 of the listed programs but that the rest are "coming soon". I asked him about courses transferring to other programs they offered, I.e. certificate to diploma studies, he had no idea and had to look on the website to compare course to course. I the asked him about accreditation and he said they in fact do not have any accreditation agreements or relationships valid with CACCF or ACCT and that the representation on the website of such a relationship was a mistake.... he assured me it would be fixed in the next 2 or 3 days. CACCF also informed me that they do NOT have any active accreditation with this "school". The representation of accreditation organizations where it does not exist is offensive and highly misleading. During the whole process the intake worker kept saying "if I am honest with you" and then pointing out areas of their website and documentation that actually were not accurate. In less than 15 minutes of a one hour informational session they disclosed so much inaccuracies and smoke and mirrors the best move I made was walking out. As a person with secondary education experience of enrollment and attendance, everything about this place seems off and sketchy.
