When I informed her that I would only compensate her if she confirmed that she could do the job she called by phone and said she could get started on the statement if I paid her $750., 50%, of her $1500. fee. I agreed, paid the $750. electronically and sent her info she requested and instructions on how to prepare the statement that I received from the TN Dept. of Commerce & Ins. After several days had passed, she said she could not understand the states instructions and could not prepare the statement in the manner they described. I explained to her that she would have to provide me a refund or be sued in court. She immediately emailed a response stating that she would mail a check that day. Angelita Dobbs is deceptive and lacks the intelligence to comprehend simple written instructions.

If you ask for additional information to be added to the form, other than what Thomas & Thorngren feel is required, they are uncooperative. Beware of ordering VOE's from Thomas and Thorngren and insist that the employer's HR departments complete the form directly or you'll potentially be losing time & money on your transaction.

Thomas and Thorngren not only lets you know that they take two days after the initial request, but they often go above and beyond that timeframe. This means that they will let you know if there's been an error or they are unable to process the request for any reason... Two or more days after you've submitted it, likely after you've already followed up with them. If there is an error, you will be faced with customer service reps telling you to wait to check the fax again and call back later. Not only is this ineffective, but it's a complete waste of time. Just today in dealing with them again, I've called several times, been on hold for over a combined two hours. I gave them a different fax number to use, and they continued to fax to the number that was not working. It has been a complete halt to my day. If you are looking for a no-hassle verification service, this is not the one for you, I would highly recommend "The Work Number"
