Luckily I searched through Yelp and despite it being a chaotic late filing season for many taxpayers, Jon was responsive, efficient and flexible in contacting me for more information and helping me organize all my documents. He worked with me on cost and met with me multiple times within a single week to ensure that everything was addressed and filed prior to the deadline. The most important aspect to me however was his knowledge and confidence in addressing my anxiety and ignorance. To me this was all a completely new experience. It is hard to put into words the panic you feel when you open a letter stating you owe the government thousands of dollars, but not only did Jon assuage every worry I had, he also saved me over $8,000. I cannot recommend Jon enough. Without him, I would have been completely lost without a single lifeline to handle a daunting situation. I appreciate him and his expertise.

However, I realized he made multiple mistakes that cost me thousands of dollars in my tax return. They were really dumb errors (copying the wrong number over; not including any insurance on my rental costs). The worst part is he wouldn't call or email me back when I was still really nice and asked him. I was actually going to fix the first issue myself but upon the closer look I found the other issue... Perhaps there's more). It would likely take him 10 minutes to fix but now I need to redo the entire return in TurboTax so everything is calculated correctly. The reason we go to a CPA is to do things accurately... He can't even get simple things done right. Don't trust him with your finances.
