Do not waste your time or money. Unfortunately, I must change my review. Initially, I thought he was great with a wonderful long initial conversation. However, I realized he made multiple mistakes that cost me thousands of dollars in my tax return. They were really dumb errors (copying the wrong number over; not including any insurance on my rental costs). The worst part is he wouldn't call or email me back when I was still really nice and asked him. I was actually going to fix the first issue myself but upon the closer look I found the other issue... Perhaps there's more). It would likely take him 10 minutes to fix but now I need to redo the entire return in TurboTax so everything is calculated correctly. Jon seemed friendly, but he sent me a URL to proprietary software without telling me what it was. I assume it was for a PC running Windows and spent the weekend getting my PC to run right, then found out it was a "wrapped" URL to Google Play for Android. If Jon had told me that, I would have started by figuring out how to get my documents from my work PC (which blocked Jon's URL to begin with, which was why I had to try on my old home PC that was broken) onto my phone, which I don't normally use for banking or anything that sensitive. I wish Jon had said to begin with that the URL was to the Play Store for an Android app. Jon's price is under market rate for his services, which could be good if you're on a budget and you download all your sensitive financial and tax forms onto your phone. Maybe many people younger than I would find Jon's service useful and streamlined, but for someone who doesn't use the phone for banking it's not a good fit. I don't think the security level of an Android phone is sufficient for doing this sort of thing on it, even if the app hadn't given me a fatal error before I even got an account created. The app needs additional testing and improvement. read more
