In this day of either pathetic or even none existent customer service I was extremely surprised to get a throwback to the old days when making a customer happy was something that a company strived to do.
I am talking about dealing with Van Steel. I purchased a rear coil over suspension kit from them for my 1968 Corvette. Let us say that this was some time ago.
I had an issue a month or so ago, I had misplaced or lost some parts for this installation. I called and talked to a woman sorry that I don't remember her name she was very kind and helpful in finding the parts that I needed. I purchased them on a Thursday and they were in my hand on the following Monday.
I then ran into a problem with a part, even though after the length of time it had been most companies would have just said sorry it is out of warranty. They instead offered several solutions to the problem and suggested the one that I believed would fix the problem with the least amount of effort. They also stated that if this did not fix the issue they would work with me to find a solution that would solve it.
I am hoping that the simple fix works but am very confident that if it does not they will work with me until a solution is achieved. read more
