He asked Sue about options. Sue told us that a while ago, George Thompson had a promotion where if an engagement ring was bought, the man would receive a wedding band for FREE! I've had my diamonds switched before by a jeweler that was in Ventura years ago ANYWAYS. I'm trying to be cool and say do you have a diamond tester machine? It registered diamond but I noticed that the machine clearly says diamond/moissanite on the machine. I asked for another test and the diamond "pen" registered it as moissanite also. The jewelers that were working both said they think it's diamond that I shouldn't be worried about anything. My sales associate suggested I come back again and talk to Robert and he will help me look at my new earrings to make sure everything is ok. What about this is even normal? No human or technology could put me at ease that my earrings /diamonds were in fact mine??? Normally I would just refer to the laser engraving on the girdle of the stone but I chose a bezel setting and it covers it. This shouldn't happen, this is literally their job. Lastly I noticed that on my receipt it says I paid credit card and I paid cash.

A staff member confidently told me (IN FRONT OF MY BUYER) that my IGI-certified 4CT lab-grown diamond was fake and "for sure Cubic Zirconia", even after I demonstrated the paperwork. After more staff members took a look, they come back to confirm it WAS actually a lab diamond (like I tried to explain!) That level of contradiction is beyond unprofessional and completely destroyed trust in the middle of a sale. On top of that, they tried to quote me around $3,000 to "rebuild" the ring because the band is thin, which felt wildly inflated. However, another person on the floor was much kinder and explained that this was due to the professional grade. Either way, she was much more informative than the other person that did not know the difference between a CZ and a diamond. This was embarrassing, frustrating, and handled terribly. I would not trust their judgment. Get a second opinion somewhere else.

They offered an exchange and after the exchange of ring, the new receipt now says FINAL SALE without verbally informing us of so. Moreover, there was an extra charge of $999 on the receipt that the salesperson MARIJOY AND coassociate MINA can't explain what it was for when my husband asked them. They then took out the UNNECESSARY $999 charge but our monthly payment was still only $20 less! Then they said they couldnt take it back anymore. This is something that small claims court can fix. I don't mind. We have lawyers in the family who can sort this through for us if these people dont take their merchandize back. Never again, DANIEL's JEWELERS CAMARILLO!!!!
