    I LOVED THIS PLACE! I had been looking for a ring with my husband, went to the Thousand Oaks mall Daniels and got our rings, it was horrible there...the man was so pushy because they were closing. Tried selling me extra stuff, didn't care that the ring was huge on me. Didn't even tell the prices. It's was just bad. THEN the next day I stumbled on this Camarillo Daniels and asked about sizing and WOW, Joy was so sweet! She didn't mind I was coming from another Daniels with my business, she was so helpful. Answer any questions, and even brought to my attention an even more beautiful ring! This meant so much to me because it is my wedding ring! Cordelia and Swanie were also so helpful! I even opened an account of my own and found my husband a watch! I recieved a free iPad as well! They walked me through all the fine print and extras as well. I highly recommend this specific location! Thank you lady's!

    PART ONE: This past Labor Day, my husband opted to go to this mentioned store above to browse around for a ring to give to me on my birthday. He opted for a white gold ring and also purchased an earring for my mom. The labor day sale they had was going on so he purchased the said items. Please see attached picture below for the receipt dated 9/5/22 printed from his Daniel's account. (The store took the original receipt on 9/15/22). He placed in a downpayment of $600 for that transaction. Now, on that same receipt, our monthly payment was stated to be $243/month for 18 months. Upon showing me the ring a few days later, we decided to have it switched to a yellow gold ring to match an old earring that I have. He came back to the store on 9/15/22 (exactly 10 days from the day of purchase) and asked for the ring to be exchanged to a yellow gold ring. The ring that he chose was $900 more, so again he placed an additional $200 cash for it. (Please see exchange receipt dated 9/15/22 --7:19 pm). I happened to review the receipt when he picked me up from work that day. On the same receipt for that "exchange" transaction, I questioned him about a "Sel and Del 720-00000 Registry charge" on the receipt and asked what it was for. The "Sel and Del 720-00000 Registry charge" amounted to $999. So for that simple ring exchange, we paid $900 for the price difference between the original ring and the 2nd ring (yellow gold) that he chose as an exchange plus the Sel and Del 720-00000 Registry charge of $999. Everything amounted to $1,899 plus sales tax of $65.25. Our balance then became $4503.95 with our monthly payment now raised to $401 per month x 18 months because of the exchange. For a price difference of $900 - $200 cash = $700, the monthly payment came up to a whopping $401 a month from $243/month from the original transaction. That is a total of $7,218 from the $4374 from the original transaction on 9/5/22. With that is a $2,844 increase just because of a $700 price difference!! On that same day, he also found a necklace. The gold chain necklace had a retail price of $2750. They opened him a Uown account to get that necklace for him. There was no "Daniel's" receipt given to him that day for the necklace transaction. He however received a Uown email with a lease agreement. The Uown agreement says he needs to pay a biweekly amount of $220.96 for 28 payments with everything amounting to $6625.94 with a rental period of 13 months. After assessing the necklace and the amount he will be paying, he decided to just return it. Now, Daniel's has a 10 day return policy. He went back to the store the following day and asked to return the necklace and to ask about the unnecessary "Sel and Del 720-00000 Registry charge" added to the exchange of rings transaction. Marijoy and Mina was in the store. Marijoy told him that she cannot take the necklace back because her manager, Mina will be upset with her. My husband tried and waited inside the store to have them take the necklace back. He also waited for the mentioned staff members as they were trying to call whoever they needed to call to have the Sel and Del charge removed, or so they said. He waited for almost 2 hours inside the store. Marijoy then took out the "Sel and Del Registry charge" of $999. See "revised receipt" dated 9/16/22 -- 11:20 am which now has a new balance of $3504.95, with monthly payment of $380 per month. He then also asked them for a copy of the Daniel's receipt for the necklace purchase. On that receipt was a forged initial of my husband. Please see receipt dated 9/15/22 ---7:14pm with a forged RC initial on the receipt. Also on that same receipt, it mentioned about a 10 day return policy. So what happened to the return policy and why didn't they take the necklace back??? They (Marijoy and Mina) proceeded to tell him that he needs to call Uown and then Uown will send him a package for him to send the necklace to Uown. They even told him to just tell Uown that it was a final sale for the necklace and that they (Marijoy and Mina) are not taking it back. Feeling defeated, he left the store and called Uown right away. Uown told my husband that they are not going to do what the Daniel's salespersons told him that Uown would send him a package for him to send the necklace to Uown since Uown still do not technically own that account because it was less than 24 hours. Uown asked him to return to the Daniel's store and give the merchandise back because it is still under the Daniel's Jewelers 10 day return policy. Now that he became upset with what happened being thrown back and forth between two companies, he called Daniel's customer service and filed a complaint about the return not being accepted and of the unnecessary charge of Sel and Del Registry charge added to the exchange transaction for the rings. So in the afternoon, my husband again went back to the Daniel's store and told them what Uown told him on the phone.

We ended up getting a lab-grown diamond wedding band that would be custom-made for my finger size. My husband wanted to get a wedding band, and honestly, just wanted the cheapest option. He asked Sue about options. Sue told us that a while ago, George Thompson had a promotion where if an engagement ring was bought, the man would receive a wedding band for FREE! She ended up sizing his finger and giving him a free wedding band that he loves. I would 100% come back here if I wanted a piece of jewelry! Great service and beautiful simple pieces.

    Paid 1600 to have my diamonds turned into earrings. Brought my certification gia from blue Nile to…read moredouble check that I indeed get back the same stones I dropped off. Seven people in the shop and not one could help me with a loop or whatever. I'm trying to be cool but my tension rose. I've had my diamonds switched before by a jeweler that was in Ventura years ago ANYWAYS. I'm trying to be cool and say do you have a diamond tester machine? It registered diamond but I noticed that the machine clearly says diamond/moissanite on the machine. I asked for another test and the diamond "pen" registered it as moissanite also. The jewelers that were working both said they think it's diamond that I shouldn't be worried about anything. My sales associate suggested I come back again and talk to Robert and he will help me look at my new earrings to make sure everything is ok. What about this is even normal? No human or technology could put me at ease that my earrings /diamonds were in fact mine??? Normally I would just refer to the laser engraving on the girdle of the stone but I chose a bezel setting and it covers it. This shouldn't happen, this is literally their job. Lastly I noticed that on my receipt it says I paid credit card and I paid cash.
