I celebrated my 40th birthday, with my family, at the Van Gogh experience. We all had a fantastic time! The life-sized exhibits were awe inspiring, especially when an entire large room lit up with the Starry Night painting. I do wish that there were more exhibits that you could interact with instead of just look at, and I also agree that it was slightly too crowded. The price of the tickets was also a bit high for the overall experience, but even so I would still recommend going to see it. It was pretty magical.

This was a very unique experience indeed! I knew very little about Van Gogh's life but was familiar with his paintings. So the walk through was very enlightening. My absolute favorite part (as I'm sure it was for many) was walking into the giant room that projected an animation of his artwork blending from his earlier days to his darker days. They had several rugs, bean bags and lawn chairs out for people to sit on/in and just watch as the "painting show" played on all four walls and even on the floor. It was such a colorful and beautiful presentation. I really enjoyed the music they chose to accompany all the active artwork. The last portion of the "experience" was with the VR. Never having experienced the VR goggles before, it was really cool to "immerse"myself into a walk around "town" viewing the sights he found inspiring them into paintings. Loved it!

This is here in Cincinnati for only a short time. It's amazing and so beautiful and I learned so much about Van Gogh. It's an immersive experience which you can just sit and enjoy. Run don't walk

Entirely too overpriced for what it is. Just a gimmicky cash grab. Would much rather see his actual art in museums.

Upon arrival to actually getting ready to pick out a piece and actual going into the shop to assist and learn what all goes into the process. Mike is exceptional as an teacher and instructor as you will find. He has a great resume and knows what he is doing. This is a smaller shop, however the output of designs is far from small. It is large on quality and creativity. Mike worked with each of us (a group of 4, 2 grandkids and 2 adults). Not only did we get first hand instructions and guidance, we were able to see other glassblowers in action. We ended up with 3 pumpkins and 1 snowman. Mike also gave provided us with some of the top universities that offer glassblowing and how to get started. It is a fairly tedious journey in learning all the in's and outs of glass blowing and design and what works and what doesn't. We were truly impressed and may look at Fire Studio and Gallery for some xmas presents. This might be a bit expensive art, however it is usually one of a kind and in personal gifts, that means a lot.

Never would I have guess we would be going on such an interesting tour and having a wonderful meal after the tour in this area. So good to see this progress. Our tour guide was Laura and while she gave useful historical facts she definitely left us with less than a hospitable feeling and that it was a bit of a drag to be giving the same tour over and over. Maybe this is the norm or maybe she was having an off day but if you are busking for tips at the tour it is a good idea to pretend to enjoy your job. Still glad we did the tour and it left us wanting for even more information on the OTR area.

I adore hearing the old stories about the cities I visit and this one, is one of the better tours I've been on. Linda clearly LOVES leading the tours, She knows what she's talking about and no question threw her. She had a great sense of humor and even let us know about other tours for later in the evening. I will take the other tours that you have in the future when I visit for longer times. These are great!
