We cannot recommend Van City RV, Kalispell, MT, as a quality shop that cares about their clients. Van City RV had our RV for over two months and did not keep it secured, thus leading to the loss of $1,700.00 of our personal property from our RV.  Van City refused to turn the claim into their insurance company. Initially Van City requested that we email them an itemized list of damages and they would get back to us with a resolution. Despite our sending repeated emails, Van City has ghosted us. None of our missing personal property has been returned to us.  We had entrusted our RV to Van City because our side access door had window damage and Van City was working to replace the window. However, the new part was determined to also be damaged and it was two weeks before a replacement window was received. During this time, Van City only covered the window opening with plastic sheeting thus leaving our RV accessible to anyone who wanted to enter it. During the time Van City had care, custody and control of our vehicle, they repeatedly assured us that our RV was secured when it was not. Additionally, Van City replaced our RV batteries and did not reinstall the Battery Isolator Disconnect Switch Key. When we contacted them about the missing key, we were informed that they could not provide one for us. However, they did provide a website for us to procure our own replacement key. Save yourself some heartache and find an RV dealer that takes its responsibility seriously. read more

These guys were so helpful and told us to make it to them and they would take it off so we could continue the journey! I recently bought another brand from another dealer in Florida and had major issues. Kari and her service team were really great. Long story short: Van City inherited my micro mini warranty needs as they had just taken over the Winnabego dealership shortly after I purchased the RV from a dealer in Oregon. Sink, awning, furnace and trim were all of the warranty items needing to be addressed. For a few reasons these items were not able to be completed within the standard 1 year warranty from Winnabego. Kari and her team saw them through to resolution even when the last of the issues were more than a year beyond the original 1 year warranty. Even after Kari and I agreed on a fair financial deal, she went above and beyond to make that agreement even sweeter for me in the end. I will go back to them for all future RV needs! read more

I recently just purchased a Chinook Class B from Eddy at Van City in Kalispell. The whole process was great! Working with Eddy and Kari, was so much better than other experiences I've had. The walkthrough went great and we had our new RV the next day. Like all RVs (and I have had 5!), there were a couple things that popped up that needed to be fixed after we purchased it, but we live almost 7 hours away. Eddy jumped on it and got me hooked up w/the manufacturer who set me up w/ a local rv repair shop. I feel like he went way above and beyond where he needed to go to help me. Thanks so much Eddy. Until my husband and I purchased an RV there last week, we could not think of a time that buying a vehicle or RV had EVER been bearable, to say nothing of the WONDERFUL EXPERIENCE WE HAD HERE. Creston RV in Kalispell MT is a fairly small dealership, but part of a larger network. They specialize in class B RVs. The hometown feel and personal attention is there for everyone, whether you are from Montana (as we are) or from anywhere else. First of all, the sales staff is very knowledgable about the products. They have a good variety of some of the best brands, and they will take the time to help you figure out what will work the best for you. We were new to the market, and we learned a lot just looking at all the models. There was no hard sell, but they are there to sell to you, if that is what you want. We checked out other dealerships in other states, but came back to Creston. I think it always pays to do your own research and learn all you can about the products and the market. I would suggest, that if you do want something on their lot, that you make them an offer. I found that they were more than willing to negotiate on price, financing, or other aspects of a deal. If you do agree on a deal, you have a very good staff to help you complete the transaction and to learn all about the technical details of your new RV. Creston also routinely offers you a night or two in a local RV park to help you familiarize yourself with the unit. This is immensely helpful for a newbie because you will be able to get answers to questions that will inevitably arise when you actually have to operate all the features yourself. We developed good relationships with everyone who was part of our purchase, and know that they will be there for us if we need any further help with information, warranty service, after-market upgrades, etc. read more

This purchase was our first motorhome and being newbies they were so gracious, accommodating and patient with us. Eddy made the long distance purchase painless. Part of my window on my RoadTrek rv fell out somewhere. The manufacturer said I needed to go to my local dealer. There is only one in Montana - Van City Rv. I spoke with Carrie (sp?), gave her all the info, sent a photo of the window and she said she would get right on it. A week later I called again after no word and this time she sounded completely uninterested in helping me. She said she could only email, not call the company. Really???? I asked her to follow up with them and she said she would but in such an uninterested, resistant way I was pretty sure she wasn't about to do it. It has now been 2 weeks and I have not heard one word from anyone. I AM MISSING A WINDOW!!!! That means rain gets in! HORRIBLE HORRIBLE service! Luckily, I contacted a dealer in California and they gave me red carpet, VIP service and my window is enroute to me. Ridiculous! I guess being the only RoadTrek dealer in the state means they don't have to offer good service. read more
