The spicy falafel sandwich had quite the kick (maybe even too much) I was looking to balance it out with the cream sauce to help ease the intensity. I also tried the regular falafel and enjoyed that better. Next time I'll ask to dial down the spice level. The falafel was crispy, the pita super soft and the pickled radish was bright. The owner was really friendly and my service at the food truck was great. I haven't tried them in person at their storefront but appreciated the on the go option.

I even have my friends from Houston and Miami talking about visiting again just to get a bowl, lol It's that GOOD. We got a free order of fries and let me tell you, they could open up a fries place on their own. The fries are like curled potatoe wedges but at the same time taste like chips. I can't explain it. They were so delicious I finished the fries first. I highly recommend them. The customer service is always A+.

Town Bakery is one of the few Middle Eastern bakeries open during Ramadan. Due to the holidays,…read morethey had a shortened menu with many items not being available during the month. What was available were the delectable looking mini pies in the display case in the front. Not what I wanted when I first walked in, but I can't really complain! Dozen Pies ($9.90) - Got 6x Zaatar, 3x Round Meat, 3x Cheese. The Zaatar has the characteristic earthiness and tanginess from the sumac, toasted sesame and other spices. The cheese is mild and milky. I think they only use mozzarella as it didn't have the characteristic saltiness and tanginess from the other cheese types traditionally on pies. The meat is well spiced with bursts of sweet allium pungency and a bit of acidity from the tomato. All three pie types were quite good after reheating in the toaster oven. The only thing that brings down my score is that the base bread is overly sweet. They put quite a bit of sugar in the dough that some bites felt like I was eating a dessert bread rather than a savory pastry. I will be back after Ramadan to try their other items.

So cheesey. The meat pie, spinach pie, and labneh were decent. They heated it up for me but they were still kinda cold. The meat pies were very bread-y. I like the meat pies at kings better. Next time I'll try the lamb or mandi chicken. Mmm.

The service was super speedy and very friendly! I don't often share a review after only trying one thing, but the Döner Kebab is that good, I can't not share it!! This thing is one of the best bites I've had so far this year! The beef & lamb mix is tender and seasoned perfectly; the bread is unlike any that I've had before; it's like a lighter and slightly more soft/fluffed version of pita, but it holds up perfectly to allow you to eat it without breaking apart. I could eat it by itself! The veggies and Döner sauce top it off to give you the perfectly balanced bite & make you want to go back for more! Getting a side of the spicy sauce is a great call too!
