I was recently introduced to the Value Village brand by a friend of mine and I have become addicted. LoL! I've never been into thrifting or anything like that, however, Value Village isn't the typical thrifting experience. The store has an abundance of options and there is always a hidden gem or two on the racks. Also, the color discount is the bombbbbbbbb. Granted on the days I go the things I want tend to never be the color of the day, LoL! However, the prices are already amazing even without the color of the day. On my journey of stores the Value Village - Forest Park location has become my favorite. The racks are always stocked and they put things in order size. OMG!!!! That is huge for me as I hate going on a scavenger hunt. The store is clean, the racks are sized, and they even had a Coach bag once. I told you, hidden gems. Value Village - Forest Park delivers value as a brand but also as a service. The staff is pleasant and they are always willing to help. Though the lines can be LONG at times, they move efficiently and never seem to be frustrated. If you're in the area, Value Village - Forest Park is a great place to stop in and grab a few things that may not have been on your list, but since you see them, you want them. LoL!!!!! read more

First time in. Great finds and friendly staff. Only thing I would recommend is they have better maintenance control. It's nice and clean inside, but the restroom and warehouse area is just filthy and I seen a couple roaches. Overall enjoyed their book section and nice office supplies. Value Village is one of my go to places to thrift. There are many locations in the Atlanta area, but this one is perfect for anyone near the Clayton State University area in Morrow. I used to go each last Wednesday of the month when I was in college, and they still do offer this promotion which gives you savings of 50% off for clothes, purses, and household linens. Aside from the sale day, I recommend going in early on any day and taking your time to go in and look for items. They always have two colors that are on sale for 50% off and the colors change each week. During my last visit, I found some gently used board games for the low AND two brand new dresses with tags from SHEIN and Fashion Nova! A few months ago, I found a new Levis collar shirt and two cute purses. I feel like this location prices items fairly and they tend to get good stuff, you just have to take time to search. I used to find a lot of professional clothing and cute purses in here during college, but don't get to come out here as often since graduating. O I couldn't rate this store as a zero, so I gave it a 1. Tonight I stop into this store to buy two small towels. I found them went to the register to checkout. there was one couple ahead of me. once the couple was finish the cashier took the towel off the hanger and call for someone to come to her registER. once this guy came up the young lady said there"s no tags. The guy then said you can't sell them and walked off, I went behind him to ask to speak to a manager. His reply was he was the manger, I then ask for his boss name. His reply was it's on the website. Value Village is one of my go to's for my thrifting needs. I appreciate their sale every last Wednesday of the month (half-off). Also they have a weekly discount, depending on the color of the tag. But it seems like I'm never able to find anything in that color. Any who, like many other thrift stores, it gets a bit messy, especially on sale day. But that's because the customers care more about deals than trampling over people and items. So I know it's hard to keep up with. They always have a pretty decent selection of great items and the pricing is good and fair for used items. I notice they've recently gone up in the last year or two, but still fair. I find a lot of new items here as well. Also they sell new furniture sets here too. Comparable to the pricing you'd find in a furniture outlet. Nice stuff. read more

My initial review was going to be great because of the merchandise. They have a great selection of goods. We generally pay using debit and pin. But for some ODD REASONING, this female cashier with fake lashes total our purchase credit, my husband had to sign and the total was $23. The demeanor of the cashiers" was a very UNPROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE because some guy the female referred to as CHICAGO, used profanity IN OUR PRESENCE , so unprofessional ‼ If I were their boss, I would RELEASE THEM FROM EMPLOYMENT, effective IMMEDIATELY ‼ Later on, this particular evening, he gets a notice of $49 being taken out for this $23 ‼ Now I am no fool by ANY MEANS, If was processed after closing and THE VALUE VILLAGE THIEF added an additional $26 to our purchase ‼ Our bank has been contacted to reverse the additional charges (DUMB THIEVES WE STILL HAVE OUR RECEIPT) My advice would be: IF YOU CHOOSE TO SHOP HERE, take CASH, do not ISE A DEBIT/CREDIT CARD because it could happen to you too. read more

This was my first time visiting Value Village. I've been trying to get into thrifting for specific pieces fpr looks in my wardrobe. I was shopping around for a boyfriend fit pair of jean shorts and cool jackets and windbreakers. Value village has a little some of everything for everyone! Clothes, furniture, purses, toys, electronics and home goods. I was really excited for the VHS tapes, typewriters, vinyl records, old hard cased suitcases & one blazer in particular. They do not have fitting rooms which kind of sucks, but they have a 7 day exchange policy. I will definitely be sure to visit monthly to see what's new. read more
