Be extra cautious when buying from this dealer!…read more Kevin was friendly, helpful, and spent a lot of time assisting me with the purchase and financing. I appreciate his effort as a salesperson. Unfortunately, the overall dealership experience was disappointing. I had an appointment scheduled with Mr. Rob, but he was not available, and the process was handled by Kevin. The vehicle had visible dust and about 45 miles on it before the test drive. After the car was washed and the paperwork was completed, I noticed a dent. I was told it would be repaired, but after multiple follow‑ups over the next 2-3 weeks, I was informed the part could not be fixed and that it was considered a Hyundai manufacturing issue. There was also visible trunk door misalignment, which I was told was "common." During a long trip, another Hyundai dealer questioned whether the car had been in an accident due to panel misalignment and identified a charging port door issue. Although they agreed it required repair, the necessary parts were on backorder. I was also told that a mandatory $499 fee was added because a "ceramic coating" was already applied to all vehicles and could not be removed; however, the product applied was Permaplate, not a true ceramic coating, which made this explanation misleading. Combined with other dealer‑added items totaling approximately $2-3k, this added to the frustration. Overall, this experience felt like taking delivery of a vehicle that needed multiple fixes, rather than a brand‑new car. While Kevin did his job well, the post‑sale support, communication, and transparency were poor.

The Honda Brand Hondas have been the most trouble free vehicles we have owned since the 1980s--including a Civic and two earlier CRVs. Dependability, security, comfort, and value have always been the case with our vehicles. The company has made significant improvements to reliability and driver assistance systems in recent years. The Old King Honda The old location was a dump. Dirty, cramped, and deteriorating facility. I hope the next property owner bulldozes the buildings and parking lot and builds an attractive, new business for a fast-growing economy. The New King Honda The brand new dealership is in a great location at Hwy 280 and Opelika Rd. The sales staff need sales training and customer service skills to match their products and the clientele. Fat lazy guys sitting at their new desks is a tired old way of doing business (or not doing it). The old paradigm of 7:30 to 6:00 six days a week is crushing to a sales group and results in low morale, in-fighting, poor health, and cynicism. The old ways of being "Like a Used Car Salesman" isn't going to work for the business or the people. The service people also need help. Ignoring customers, turning your back, talking on the phone, making excuses, and trying to impress customers with your superior knowledge won't cut it. Greeting people, listening carefully, affirming your commitment and understanding, and looking for ways to help--these are the proven skills of up-selling and repeat business. Mr. Dave King, it's time to get your money's worth--and give your customers their money's worth. And P.S. Fiona is your best employee. J.W.Warren

He took it to King Honda and was told it needed fuel injectors replaced at a cost of $2200. He was also told he needed a front and rear brake job at another $800. I authorized the injector repairs but told him to wait on the brakes. He was coming home to Louisiana for Thanksgiving, and we would have the brakes checked at our local dealer. Our local dealer said the brakes were nowhere near needing replacement, with 50-60 % life left. I was not feeling great about this dealership, as even though they told us they had to wait for parts on the injector repair, the car was ready a day early, and they kindly took my $2200. I would not trust them again.

Shady and disgusting business practices. This dealership is…read morethe worst I have ever done business with. They informed me my car was having issues covered under warranty but it needed to bring the check engine light back on before they could service it. Once the light came back on they refused to service it claiming it needed the entire engine replaced for a separate issue. Every conversation I had with them was filled with lies and they refused to honor their word. I did exactly what their tech and mechanic told me to do and suddenly they claimed this never happened. Never do business here and never buy a Kia if you want a reliable car.

Was told they were getting the car we wanted and it was just up the road. Sat there watching the parking lot for hours only to find out it was somewhere in Florida and they weren't getting it until we agreed to buy it. Nothing but lie after lie. They pulled a bait and switch on us. We had been negotiating on an AWD. After we got home, we discovered we had a FWD. Contacted our salesperson and he said he'd do everything in his power to make it right. They have refused to make it right. I got a survey and lo and behold, they had filled it out with excellent marks and forged my signature. I could go on because there was so much dishonesty. Avoid this place like the plaque. we won't go back for any service work. we will make the drive to go elsewhere.
