Bought a car in December,2016 and 3 days later the engine blew right after I had them do some minor work on it. They sell junk!

Be extra cautious when buying from this dealer!…read more Kevin was friendly, helpful, and spent a lot of time assisting me with the purchase and financing. I appreciate his effort as a salesperson. Unfortunately, the overall dealership experience was disappointing. I had an appointment scheduled with Mr. Rob, but he was not available, and the process was handled by Kevin. The vehicle had visible dust and about 45 miles on it before the test drive. After the car was washed and the paperwork was completed, I noticed a dent. I was told it would be repaired, but after multiple follow‑ups over the next 2-3 weeks, I was informed the part could not be fixed and that it was considered a Hyundai manufacturing issue. There was also visible trunk door misalignment, which I was told was "common." During a long trip, another Hyundai dealer questioned whether the car had been in an accident due to panel misalignment and identified a charging port door issue. Although they agreed it required repair, the necessary parts were on backorder. I was also told that a mandatory $499 fee was added because a "ceramic coating" was already applied to all vehicles and could not be removed; however, the product applied was Permaplate, not a true ceramic coating, which made this explanation misleading. Combined with other dealer‑added items totaling approximately $2-3k, this added to the frustration. Overall, this experience felt like taking delivery of a vehicle that needed multiple fixes, rather than a brand‑new car. While Kevin did his job well, the post‑sale support, communication, and transparency were poor.

From research I have found that most dealerships add "extras" without telling you. I would advise…read moreanyone not to purchase the same day. Take all your paperwork home, rest, then read everything before you sign anything. Buyer beware. It has taken 6 months to resolve an issue of GAP coverage. With my down payment I did not need GAP. At the point of sale I was so exhausted after spending all day at the dealership that I did not take another hour to read every page I signed. It was my fault I did not see I was charged. I read everything the next day at home. I was never asked or told about GAP coverage. I was not concerned as I did read I had 30 days to cancel with a full refund. I requested the cancel in writing two days after the purchase. I sent all parties a copy of request. Mail was return undeliverable from KIA 1687 S, College St address. I contacted my sales agent the same day it was returned and emailed the request for process the same day. He was wonderful and assured me it would be taken care of. Still within a week of purchase. I have had to chase the refund to my loan. When the bank received the refund it was prorated. So, again I had to chase why. That's when contact with me stopped from the local dealer. I have contacted corporate office and I was assured a check for the difference had been sent. They did not know where or when I would get that check or if it was sent to me or my bank. Advised me to contact the local dealer. I do love my van and it has been a great addition to my life. This was a learning experience for sure on what to do and not do.

Shady and disgusting business practices. This dealership is…read morethe worst I have ever done business with. They informed me my car was having issues covered under warranty but it needed to bring the check engine light back on before they could service it. Once the light came back on they refused to service it claiming it needed the entire engine replaced for a separate issue. Every conversation I had with them was filled with lies and they refused to honor their word. I did exactly what their tech and mechanic told me to do and suddenly they claimed this never happened. Never do business here and never buy a Kia if you want a reliable car.

Let me begin by saying I haven't encountered an employee at this location who has ever appeared…read morerude or confrontational. However, I dropped off my 2019 F-150 over 5 weeks ago (6/4) to have apparent sudden transmission issues diagnosed. I had no idea what kind of timeline to expect as far as a turnaround diagnosis, but I was happily informed upon dropoff that I could expect a call back in a couple days because it was as simple as a road test and computer plug in that would let me know what was going on in detail. Fast forward to the end of the following week, still no answer so I called back myself. I was then told no one had looked at my truck yet but it would certainly be in the shop that afternoon and I'd get a call no problem. As you can imagine I didn't hear a thing from them, so I waited another full week to call back when I was told the SAME excuse. When I asked to speak with the service manager they supposedly noted down my information and said he'd call to go over my concerns. After several more days had passed with no update over the phone, I drove to the physical service desk and asked to speak with my service advisor who then informed me my truck had just come off the lift and needed a brand new transmission. While I had feared this all along, I was prepared and agreed to have Ford perform the service the very next morning after researching local options and Ford offering a, what I consider to be small, discount on the job. I was then told the new transmission would arrive over the weekend and be installed Monday or Tuesday of the following week (7/6-7) As I'm typing this review it is Friday afternoon (7/10) of "the following week" and my truck once again hasn't moved since I agreed to have the work performed. While I can fully understand how busy such a dealership can remain all year long, I'm more angered by the fact that the service advisors do everything they can to "beat around the bush" and give vague answers/dates to any questions a customer asks. Any other mechanic I have ever used will provide a clear timeline or at the very least make sure they call to keep their paying customer informed of any changes it truly has been my experience here that you have to show up in person to find out any information and have work started or otherwise you will fall through the cracks and be put behind a growing line of vehicles. Not to mention you must wait on hold a minimum of 10-20 minutes before ever getting through to service in the first place. If I would have simply been informed that the diagnosis and repair work would have taken this long, I could have made the decision to either be without my vehicle and understood the needed repairs, or taken my business elsewhere and for less of a cost and a quicker resolution. I've been cast to the wayside far too many times falsely expecting updates when nothing was ever really planned that soon and that is no way to treat someone. I love Ford vehicles and have only ever driven a Ford truck for work or personal use, but this experience combined with the continuous failure of modern parts and higher service costs makes me seriously reconsider any future purchases altogether. To anyone who takes the time to read this review please consider all your options and make sure you're ready to be without a vehicle for a substantial amount of time at this location. Also as far as covered warranty work is concerned, the exact same scenario can be expected. When I had to have a new engine installed in the 2024 F-250 after the original catastrophically failed at only 12k miles, I experienced the same runaround and false statements (minus the extremely pricy repair bill I now have in front of me) before driving to the location and demanding answers. I received that vehicle back after over 2 months had passed since drop off with a tow truck. New engines and transmissions aren't a walk in the park, but don't mislead your customers and provide false hope of an early turnaround only after they force you to give an update. Laying out the facts early on would avoid half of my frustrations.
