Unfortunately, I neglected to inquire whether there was a pool on the property (sadly, there was no none). However, although my grandchildren like having this option, it was not on the top of my "need" or "want" list and was not a big loss. + The staff were over-the-top friendly and welcoming. + The room (and entire facility) was very clean and bright. - My only negative was the persistent interstate noise. Since I wear earplugs when I sleep, it didn't bother me in the least. However, it would be an important note for the light sleepers out there.

For starters, when we checked in, we were given a completely different room from what we had chosen. Then we were advised the parking garage (that you pay $12 a day for) would be unavailable the following day from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. due to a car show, and we would have to park blocks away from the hotel. After our first night's stay, housekeeping never came in to clean our room or provide new towels. The room is only stocked with two smaller bath towels and no extras. The hotel offers laundry facilities where you can wash your clothes, and when we went to wash, there was only one washer and one dryer for the entire hotel that required quarters. When we asked for change to buy quarters for the laundry, the front desk didn't even have change for a $20 and advised they couldn't just add it to the room. The room they put us in was right across from the elevator, so every time someone got on or off, we could hear the elevator ding and their entire conversation! The noise from Washington Blvd. is insane. It's so loud and noisy! I think the only positives were the front desk staff was friendly, and the hotel is within walking distance to historic 25th Street, where there are several restaurants and bars as well as shopping. Unfortunately, the whole experience just felt very inconvenient and disappointing, which was a total bummer.

Only complaint was fan was a bit loud ans sounded like a shopping cart driving down the road at times. There were plenty of other guests but couldn't hear any of them. The door didn't shut on its own, which is a plus if you often forget your key ;) Pool is nice, but the Courtyard is stunning. It's absolutely gorgeous with ponds and water features and sculptures and foliage. Theres a big fire pit good for groups or large families as well. Theres sunset was phenomenal to view from there and the mountains were stunning during golden hour ! Breakfast was simple, but filling. Nothing fancy but plenty of the staples and necessities. Jeremiah's restaurant was in the same parking lot as the hotel and was also pretty great for what it was. Plenty of delicious and local dishes, all family friendly. This place was a pleasant surprise for a best western off the freeway in Ogden. Well done! I will be remembering and recommending this spot in the future !

It's definitely not worth the price. Should not be over $50 a night, in my opinion. Pool closed "for the season," though it's an indoor pool. Buyer beware

Reading others reviews perhaps I was lucky but I did not experience any of the issues others are posting. The first thing I noticed was how clean and well-kept the entire property is. From the lobby to the room, everything is tidy and organized. The room itself is spotless, well-appointed, and has everything I need for a comfortable stay. The bed is comfortable--soft, supportive, and perfect for getting a good night's sleep and where most hotels don't get it correct, the shower's water pressure here is very good. The free breakfast is also better than expected when reading others reviews. There is a variety of options that include the basics and a delicious 24/hour free coffee machine that allows for a convenient start to the morning. What really makes the stay though is the friendliness of the staff. I do t know what other reviews are referring to about bad attitudes but everyone I interacted with was courteous and welcoming, which adds a personal touch to the overall inviting experience. A couple of small things to note: the light switch cover in my room is cracked, oh no that is the worst, part of the ceiling in the bathroom had been repaired by an unqualified tradesman so it looked unmatched and if you're over 6 feet tall, the showerhead might feel a little low. Neither of these are deal-breakers for me--just details that might matter to some guests. Overall, Sleep Inn Ogden offers great value, reliable comfort, and excellent cleanliness. I'd definitely stay here again and recommend it to others who are looking for a solid hotel option in the area. Well done staff, well done.

There's maybe like 5 keyed entrances. My room was towards the back of the building. So I pulled around to park and unload. The entrance had some sort of squished strawberries, smeared on the cement. Walking into the hallway, there was some sort of animal pee smell that seemed like it was covered in a whole bottle of perfume. Luckily the smell was like 3 rooms away from mine. The room itself, yes. Like other reviews have said, small. These are not double queens. They're more like full sized beds. BUT there are a lot of fluffy pillows, which is nice. The beds are comfortable. The bathroom area is...tight. BUT (lol) the shower is pretty spacey. I like how it feels like a space ship capsule (I've been in one of those museum ones) lol. The water flow is also nice and strong. You can see in my photos that there are some problem areas. Maybe mold? There's some water build up on the shower handle, looks like a tare in the shower wall, perhaps a leak somewhere?! Not sure. The towels are nice and a good size. A little bigger than the average hotel ones. I haven't tried the breakfast yet. I'm sure it'll be like any other "quick stop" hotels. With the waffles and what not. I'm not a huge fan of continental breakfast, I need food, food lol!! There are restaurants nearby I'll probably check out before heading back on the road! Good times. Lol! Stop by if you need a quick place to sleep. Or sleep in your tractor, probably cheaper (it's free) but I need a toilet, shower and life... haha!!

Lotion and hand soap are mounted on the wall. No small soaps. Three bath towels, two face and hand towels are soft and absorbant. The faucet is installed so far away from the sink, water barely falls into the bowl and everytime it is used makes a wet mess on the vanity. Toilet is clean, worked well and had two rolls of tp. Tissues on the vanity. Towel rack over the toilet. The breakfast area, behind doors when out of service, is well organized with entrances/exits on each end. Oatmeal with some add ins, cold cereal, fresh fruits, juices, fridge with milk, yogurt and cream cheese take up the back wall. The front wall is a pancake maker with fixins, bagels, bread and muffins near the toasters and jellies. Coffee, available throughout the day, is made by a machine on demand and takes a minute to pour. This is a strong brew. Decaf and hot water are available from the machine as well. Tea and cocoa are on a seperate counter next to the two coffee machines where you will find creamer during non-breakfast hours and half and half is added during breakfast service. A line quickly formed at the coffee station during breakfast. A variety of seating is available in the breakfast area with one TV showing news throughout the day. A local newspaper is available here as well. Staff were pleasant. A small store offers snacks, energy drinks and the like. Soda machines are located on each floor between the elevator and ice machine. One elevator seemed enough for this three story hotel.
