This was truly the best parking experience I have had at EWR. There were no hassles at drop-off. We unloaded my bags, gave them the keys, and within 10 minutes we were on the shuttle to the airport. Pickup was equally fast. We had no checked bags, so I texted the claim number after getting off the plane (as instructed). We waited less than 5 minutes for the shuttle, and our car was ready and waiting when we got to the lot. The entire staff was friendly and courteous throughout, and we always had help with the bags. As far as functionality goes, no complaints there. We pulled in and we on our way to the Airport on one of their shuttles within 5 minutes. Once we arrived, we called the number to request a shuttle and within 5 minutes they were there taking us back to our car which was waiting for us right at the office. But aside from that, some minor complaints would be that the shuttle we rode in did have an odd smell - it could have used a good cleaning. There also seemed to be miscommunication between the driver and their office as they were trying to figure out passenger pick-up information while driving on busy NJ roads. All in all, no major issues with Value Parking and they did save us a lot of money compared to Long-term airport parking. read more

Second time using Value. First time, everything went fine with the exception of pickup to get my car. We arrived back at EWR in the evening to roughly 30* temperatures. I followed the instructions on the card to notify them I had arrived. It took roughly 20 minutes to get a ride back to the lot. Not fun in the cold, but I had no other issues so I figured they just had a bad day or were busy. Kept my mouth shut. Last week I used their lot again, same thing smooth sailing until we arrived back from our trip. Called the number and spoke with dispatch. He said he has a driver there now and we can get a ride back. Find the driver and he says the van is full. I texted the number on the card just to be sure they knew I was waiting and got a response. 25 minted goes by standing in the freezing cold AGAIN. Now I'm done. We got a ride back and was checking out. Didn't have change for a tip for the driver, so I asked the attendant at the counter. In a rude response "I don't have change". That's the final straw. Will be using The Parking Spot next time. 2 bucks difference to have a van at the airport every 5 minutes is worth it. read more

Got us to the airport in a timely manner and picked us up in a timely manner BUT.....the next morning (we arrived back to lot late around 10pm and of course tired from traveling) I noticed that on the driver side there was extensive damage to my vehicle. We immediately contacted the manager ( not even 12 hours post leaving the lot) HE WAS RUDE, ABRUPT AND NOT WILLING TO HELP OR LISTEN IN ANY WAY. HE BASICLY SAID "TOO BAD" YOU DROVE OFF THE LOT. I just want to add that the way they had our vehicle parked the "bright lights" in the lot were obviously not shinning right on the damaged area. DO NOT PARK HERE......NOT SAFE! read more

I have parked here several times and will go back again. They are fast and easy. I recently forgot a backpack on one of their vans and they held it for me until I could return to pick it up. Nothing missing. My one minor complaint is that the seat belts don't always work on the van. I don't mind this for me - it is a short trip and we are not going very fast, but it does make me a little uneasy when traveling with kids. I just make sure they sit in the seats where the seat belts work. read more

Awful customer service. We were yelled at by one of their late night employees for being worried about an awful sound we heard leaving their lot, management said the employee helped us to the best of their ability. I paid for a car wash that was not done well at all, management says that the photos I sent in were after my car ride home so the dirt was accumulated then. There were deep scratches on our windows and an employee told us the manager would be able to review the tapes to see what happened, management stopped responding to my emails when I asked about the tapes. The cherry on top of this frustrating experience was being charged three times over the course of three days to total $260. It took another 2 days to correct and get the money back into my account. I didn't ask for a refund once and they couldn't even say sorry for the experience we had. Would never use again. read more

We arrived at Value Parking the afternoon of Jan. 24. The conditions were unusual, I'll give them that. Newark airport was mostly shuttered due to the storm the day before. But our airline, JetBlue, had instructed us to park, arrive at the ticket counter and then board a shuttle bus to a nearby airport that was allowing planes to take off. Upon arriving at Value Parking, we waited 5-10 minutes before an employee informed us that it was "illegal" to drive to the airport or on the roads at all, and that we were mistaken if we thought we had a flight. There were, in fact, numerous cars driving and parking at the airport when we arrived. The driving ban had been lifted more than 10 hours earlier, roads were perfectly fine. The employee quickly became irate when I started to explain our situation. Shouting, he demanded we leave immediately. I asked for a refund. He refused and said that we were out of luck because we paid through third party reservation service. Pressed for time, I left without further argument. We were running so late by that time, that I had to park in airport short-term parking in order to make the shuttle and we spent $99 on three days of parking. read more

Upon check in I had an extremely professional experience; the driver was very pleasant, the customer service counter was friendly and helpful, etc; but when I picked up my car I was a bit disappointed. I noticed an extremely large amount of bird crap (pigeons) on my front windshield. When I asked for a paper towel to wipe it off - yes there was THAT much - the four guys standing around all shrugged their shoulders. Finally one guy said "yeah I noticed that when I brought your car out and tried to use your wipers to get it off." Then he pointed me to the restroom to get some tissue and he walked off. I had to go back three times to get water and paper towels from the bathroom to get it off my car. I realize that they are not responsible for cleaning my car, but after he used the wipers to smear the crap all over the windshield you'd think he's be a little more apologetic and more importantly - helpful! When he came back and I asked him about it he said he can't control that. Again, no apology. Not sure if I will be back there. If you don't care what your car looks like when you get it back then go ahead and take it here. I've never seen that amount of blue and green colored crap anywhere - it must have been parked under a pigeon coop - it seriously looked like a broccoli and pea eating baby had squatted over my car for three days.... read more

Close spot to the airport. Car was ready when I returned. It did take about twice as long to pick us up at the airport as we were told. It may have been busy or they were short staffed; the fellow at the counter did apologize. It was a similar case the previous time we used them. Whatever the case, it keeps the rating on the place from being higher. read more

I came home from vacation to find an item missing from my car. It had been in the console. Not only did the manager refuse to take responsibility, but he was very nasty. Don't use them...they don't protect your personal property & won't take responsibility for their employees behavior. Wow! These guys make you feel VIP. They are very thorough and organized. As soon as you drive up, someone is there to greet you and move your luggage into the shuttle bus. The font desk person is very attentive and doesn't treat you like he already spoke to a couple hundred travelers already. The shuttle ride is quick and they unload the luggage for you. When I came back, I called the number and the shuttle came within 5 minutes. We arrived back at the lot with the car waiting out in front with the trunk open and ready for your luggage. Used Value Parking for 12 days in September 2015. Couldn't have had a better experience. Pulled into their lot (easily found using their address on my GPS), and was greeted by a valet. Valet loaded our bags into the van (which was right there waiting). Went into the office (right at entrance gate) and checked in. Less than three minutes after pulling into Value Parking's lot, we were on our way to the airport. When we flew home, we followed the directions on the back of our parking ticket (make sure you take it with you) and the van was at the pick-up spot (outside baggage) within seconds of us getting there. Drivers and office personnel are friendly and very professional. Will definitely park here again. Oh and their rates are great! (Paid around $100 for 12 days - including taxes etc.) read more

I parked there one time. Last time. I entered my car's model, nothing popped up as oversize car. I got to the lot and the manager told me he'll charge me extra. I showed him the reservation and the rate, but he didn't care. I was in a rush and didn't have time to argue or find another parking. They charged me extra for my car. This was the best parking experience that we have ever had at any airport. The staff was courteous when we dropped off the car and when we picked up. Shuttle service was extremely efficient. While on the shuttle going to the airport, we realized that we had left a bag containing our lunch sandwiches in our car. The driver called the office, and the next shuttle brought our sandwiches within a few minutes. The location is great - easy to get to from major roads near the airport. I'd give them a 5 but they backed into something and did some minor damage to my car. How do I know? I keep it clean and notice every scratch. After picking it up and getting home I washed it like I do every week and saw the damage. I am not a fan of having someone else park my car, especially when they bang it around. Also, appears they scraped or pushed off some snow on the back window which left some white marks that I will have to remove. Again not major, just annoying. The service is good, drop off and pick up for me was very fast. It is about an 8 min drive to airport and your car is waiting for you under cover when you get back. BTW if you want to make a formal complaint about damage you need to have done a walk around with the staff when you dropped the car off. I did not know that because I did not read the fine print on the ticket when I was on my way to airport. I may give them another try but I am uneasy about leaving the car for them to move around now. read more

Polite, professional service! Getting to the lot via GPS was easy. It's very close to the airport. We were greeted as soon as we arrived and they transferred our luggage to the shuttle while I went inside and signed the forms. I handed over my car keys and we all got into the shuttle and were at the airport in about 10 minutes. When we arrived home, I called from the airport, as they had instructed, and they arrived within 15 minutes. Back at the lot our car was warmed up and waiting for us. They transferred our luggage into my car while I paid, and we were on our way home. Completely painless. I will use them every time I fly out of Newark. read more

This place is awesome. We booked online (which made it cheaper), we arrived and they parked our car for us, took us right to the airport and picked us up right when we called upon our return. Our car was waiting for us when we got back to the lot and they were thoughtful enough to not leave our keys in the car risking it being stolen (which had been happening at other lots in the area). Just flew out of Newark with a group of 11 with three cars. We all parked at Value for a week. My family was running very late for our flight (parked the car 30 minutes before boarding). I had registered online and called ahead to let them know we were going to be late for the reservation. I was told not to worry and that I was already in the system. When we arrived they had me checked in and immediately grabbed our bags and helped us put them in the van. We were at the airport in just minutes. Coming back, I texted them to let them know we were ready for pick up and the van was there in minutes. The cars were waiting out front and check out was super fast and easy. Everyone was very friendly from beginning to end. If we ever fly out of Newark again (which I will try to avoid because of how awful the airport staff is) we won't hesitate to park at Value. read more

Decided to use Value parking after reading the excellent reviews here on Yelp. Close to the airport, extremely convenient, and less expensive than other options. Were greeted immediately, our bags transferred to their awaiting van. Given a card with clear directions about pick up. Van is clean and well maintained. Dropped off no fuss... Trip back... Called the number after picking up bags, and van was already waiting when we walked outside. Quick trip back to lot where our car had been pulled up and was waiting. They unloaded the bags right into our car and we were on our way home in just a few minutes. Exactly what you want after a long trip. Best part though was the friendly service! Everyone had a smile! Value Park Wreck My Car Value Park was recommended by my sister who has used them several times. We were going on a family vacation for a week so I reserved parking for two vehicles a few weeks in advance. All went well when we dropped off the vehicles but when we got back and picked them up my minivan looked like someone had side swipe a pole in the back right side. The seats were moved and all the mirrors were adjusted. Unfortunately I did not notice the damage at the time of pick up. It was raining and cold at 10:00pm Saturday night after traveling all day with a 21/2 hour drive back to Harrisburg Pa. I had stopped for gas and some grocery's 10 minutes from home and that's when I noticed the damage. I called Valve Park at 12:30 am and spoke to a guy who was not there when I picked up my car. He basically said to bad you should have looked at the car before leaving the lot. I thought if I could talk to the owner I might have a better responds so I called back on Monday and the person said the owner was not in but he took my information and would pass it on to the owner, and that was the last contact I had. This is my FIRST review I have ever written, and I am not trying to scam anyone, in fact the car has some other damage where my wife hit the house. I am writing this review a week after they took my information so they had plenty of time to respond, but nothing. I Do Not recommend Value Park first because they wrecked my car and never make any attempt to speak to me about it. The moral to the story is take pictures of your vehicle in their lot when you drop it off, and also a picture of the odometer. Who knows where my car had been while I was away? read more

It was awful. I figured worth the extra money for the convenience as I returned at 1:15a.m. The promised 5-7 minute pick up was a selling point. In fact i waited to call as I was worried they may get there so fast. So i arrived at the baggage claim and was told 5-10 minutes. After 15 minutes I called the guy who picked up said i had to wait. At the same time two the parking spot vans and haynes and a few others had come and gone. Finally after 20+ minutes he arrived then had to wait for some one. I arrived at pick up and old he guy at the desk I was unhappy. I expected an apology or something, no he gave me attitude. He said "well buddy, i only got one driver tonight so nothing i can do" I said the website says 5-7 minutes. He said well thats too bad there is nothing he could do. Continued to give me attitude. First time i was away from my newborn son and all i wanted was to get home. Boy at 1:45 am was not what i needed. I would never give them my business. Oh and to add I emailed them twice before wriing a review and no one bothered to write back. read more

Always am suspicious of long-term parking places, but I have to say that EVERYTHING about Value was easy, and the people who worked there very helpful. Dropped off the car and was was checked in; the shuttle appeared immediately. Everyone I dealt with was well mannered with good attitudes. Pickup could not have been easier.
