Used these guys when we needed a ride from central NJ to EWR. Needed a pickup at 4:15am, and they were at our hotel at 4:10. Since there was no traffic, he was able to avoid the turnpike, which i appreciated. They called the day before to confirm everything. Thank you Harrington Limousine Service for great Newark Airport Service. Traveling to Disney World with kids is stressful enough. Our driver arrived very early on departure which was great. On our return our bus to the airport was late, and then our flight was delayed by 4 hours, and the driver was there waiting at 2AM. There is nothing more comforting than getting that message that your driver is here waiting for you after a nightmare of airline delays. Drivers are so professional and courteous. read more

I have to write this up because I never do - I had just booked service with this company and then saw this poor review about how there was an issue with the vehicle and how it took forever for someone to get back to them. I then read into this a bit more and I was going to cancel service and try and find someone else but when I tried there were only a few in my area and ultimately I didn't feel as comfortable with the other people that I spoke to as I did with the rep from A. Harrington Limo and to top it off there wasn't much of a price difference if any at all. I must say I received email confirmation after I booked, then the next morning I got an email when the chauffeur was on his way and funny enough I got one when he was in front of my house, that was too cool and he was 15 minutes earlier than I ordered the car for. He was waiting for me until I was ready, he greeted me as Mr. he took my bag, opened the door for me. I really felt special. The chauffeur confirmed where I was going and he wanted to make sure that I had everything that I needed (it was like he had a list memorized of all the things I had forgotten in the past) He then proceeded to tell me that he took the liberty of checking my flight (really???) He then told me what time, terminal and gate my flight is departing from. I was impressed this never happened to me before. Ultimately we got to the airport quickly and safely I felt comfortable the entire time. I must say I hate to travel as much as I do and this so far was the best part of my trip, so I booked my return with them as well. This was the best yet thank you so much. read more

They are so prompt that the driver arrived 50 minutes early. The cars that picked me from home to and from the airport to home were we're not the ugly towncars. I believe it was a Chrysler 200, which are very nice and roomy. The receptionist is friendly. I will definitely do business with them again. I booked a luxury sedan to take us to New York City for the week-end for a special anniversary. The company communicates constantly. However, when they changed the terms of the contract, there was not a word. I received an e-mail the day before the pick-up confirming that the car was to be a sedan. I even received an e-mail the day of the pick-up. There was no mention of what type of vehicle, only the license plate number. When the driver arrived the vehicle was an SUV, not the Chrysler 300 or Cadillac they had specified on the phone. It rode just like the buses we take to Port Authority and was a very uncomfortable ride. They are responsive when booking. However, when I wanted to speak to someone about what had happened, I had to contact them at least 3 times before someone called me. We returned on Monday but nobody called me until Thursday. I was told the terms and conditions allow substitutions of vehicles. I have read every correspondence that I received from Harrington and there is no mention of this anywhere. There are certainly a lot of limo companies to choose from. The mark of a quality company is how they handle problems that arise. I certainly would not book them again. read more

I booked Harrington Limo several times this summer to go to Newark Airport on very short notice with very early pickup times. The office staff and drivers were very professional and very helpful each time. I had a 4 a.m. pickup for an international flight and didn't have time to go online and check the flight status before I left and didn't get a text notification that my flight was cancelled. The driver, though, was on top of it and advised me when I got in the car that he saw the flight might have been cancelled. I decided to continue to the airport anyway and was able to call the airline from the backseat of the limo and they confirmed the cancelled flight and re-booked me on the next flight with a different carrier, which I then told the driver and we diverted to a different terminal. I was very grateful that the driver took the time to check the flight and let me know, otherwise, I would have been dropped off at the original terminal and I would have had to figure out how to get to the other terminal to catch the next flight. On another flight with a 5:30 a.m. pickup, in the evening before the flight, I received an initial text message from the airline that the flight would be delayed 35 minutes (there were multiple flights delayed or cancelled that evening, due to thunderstorms in the area), then I continued to get texts throughout the overnight with updated delay statuses, which pushed back the departure time to later and later. At one point, I think it was 3:30 a.m. in the morning, I called Harrington Limo and got a live person right away, explained the situation and asked if I could postpone my pickup time as my flight was now delayed 3 hours and I needed to get some sleep. No problem! I was grateful they were willing to accommodate the last minute change with my pickup time and also impressed that they had someone live who was available to answer the phones and help with my request, no matter what time it was. Using Harrington Limo gave me peace of mind during an otherwise stressful time to prepare for two last-minute trips. Thank you! read more

We had not parked at EWR, anfd were dreading the trip home, either by train or even a regular taxi with our 4 pieces of luggage. The driver was polite, professional. and on time. It was a delightful trip from Edison, NJ to NYC for a wonderful day of sight seeing, theatre and local food. The chauffeur was a delight, making small talk and informing us of sights along our way. However, the return trip didn't happen. When my wife spoke to the scheduler she said all we needed to do was give them a call and they would dispatch a driver to us within 2 hours. My wife made the call and was informed that no driver was available. She was told to find another service. How about them apples...in the "Big Apple". Maybe I have too high of expectations...being stranded on my birthday in a strange city is not my idea of fun. Lesson learned...Thanks A Lot!!! read more
