Nope. Just nope. I…read moreneeded a taxi at the train station, and since I saw one of La Costera's taxis, I thought, why not? I should've waited for another company's because La Costera's driver provided horrible service. Never again. First, I asked if he was taking passengers because he was speaking on the phone to someone. I thought he would've ended his conversation after I got into the car, but he continued talking on the phone for 5 minutes. He only got on with my ride after I asked him whether he was going to drive me or not. Second, he didn't know where I wanted to go. I am from out of town and I was visiting someone for work purposes. I even asked him if he knew where the place was. He then proceeds to ask me to use my phone's GPS because his phone was dying (um probably because you were talking on the phone for all that time). Third, there's no meter. Repeat. NO METER. He wanted to charge me $20, but I only gave him $18 after some pushback. Totally arbitrary. Finally, he couldn't speak English very well at all, and while it is not a requirement to speak English in this dear country of our's, if you work in the service industry, I'd hope that you can at least somewhat communicate with your customers. Absolutely terrible. Recommend everyone to stay away.
