The owner is brash and his only concern is how much money he can make. I have used other movers and this company is by far the worst. Buyer beware.

She hired them even though they were more expensive then the competition because they claimed 22 years of experience. They reviewed everything she had (of which she sold or gave away most) and said it would be an easy move. They even said they could take down and put up TVs and get things setup nicely for her as long as she paid their pricey hourly rate. It turns out they are a scam. Three guys showed up with a small snowmobile trailer that clearly wouldn't fit everything in. She was moving an hour away and they told her she would just have to pay their rate to go back and forth. They didn't show up with a small moving truck as expected! My mom ended up renting the moving van which was cheaper. The end result was the following: - They missed items and got mad when she asked them to put them in the truck (a dolly and two shelves in the garage) - They broke a TV by throwing a dolly on it but tried to hide it until my Mom asked where the "missing" TV was. - They refused to do anything but drop off the items. Lots of things were left outside. (Go figure since they were being paid hourly). - They wouldn't even take a door of hinges to get items in the house so my Mom has to hire another neighbor do pop 3 hinges out for them! - In the end they agreed to pay $100 for the nice broken TV (that they claimed was my Mom's fault since she didn't keep the TV box), but not before they added another $40 charge for having to drive the truck my mom rented back! What a rip off! My sister in law and I had to come help my Mom and rearranged our schedules because of this very unprofessional company! I think the cleaning it got was cursory at best. The appointment made to deliver the piano was missed completely, without even a phone call. Then when they made another appointment, they arrived two hours late, without a phone call to inform us they were running behind. They did replace a missing wheel, at an extra cost, but overall, I was disappointed in the service received.

I weighed at the certified CAT scale across the intersection going in loaded and again empty. first load, 2,000 pounds is missing. second load 900 pounds missing. I demanded a reweigh, the weight magically matched the CAT scale and the 2,000 pounds was found. second load same issue weight reappeared. . so check your weights and don't be cheated. and yes I reported them to the state, and I have the scale tickets to prove my position. beware and don't be scammed!!

The carpet cleaner and I communicated he would arrive at 8am on June 22, 2017. I am a high school teacher; this allowed for me to get to work on time because I would be his first client of the day. He texted me the morning of, saying he would arrive at 9am instead. He did not arrive until 9:30am. I had to delay going to work by a considerable amount. Immediately, he pressured me to go with a deal $300 more than he originally quoted me for the previous day. I told him no, that I wanted a normal carpet cleaning. He only cleaned for 30 minutes--I paid $250 for this. He picked up furniture and put them on my couch so he could clean the rugs, and never put the furniture back. Afterward, again, he kept pressuring me to go with a higher service, which I did not want. But because I was a single woman alone in my apartment with him, I was uncomfortable and flustered, and did not inspect too closely until after he left. Upon closer inspection, I noticed there was still soil on the carpets which should have been easily removed with a normal carpet cleaning. I also realized there was a white residue ALL over ALL my furniture from the quick cleaning, including a handmade mirror my late grandfather made. I contacted him and asked if he could return to complete the job. He refused and said he would return only if I paid him more. I merely wanted the job I paid for him to do to be done. He then sent me a slew of offensive, unprofessional texts. He even accused me of faking being Deaf. I AM a Deaf person. He wrote: "I thought you were deaf and needed my help that's why I went the extra mile" What extra mile? Is he referring to having to write down what he was saying? Because that IS what you have to do when you have a Deaf customer--that's not going the extra mile. When I called Chem-Dry customer service to address this issue, they said there was nothing they could do, except to try contacting him. They were unable to provide any sort of resolution, and this is unacceptable. I was harassed via text message and given horrible service. I know Chem-Dry operates as a franchise, but the parent company needs to be responsible for the business as a whole. I will tell people to NEVER get a carpet cleaning from Chem-Dry and will happily recommend other businesses.
