I am pleased to say that Karen who owns Eyeglass Outlet is a different breed completely -- a wonderful pillar of the Lebanon community and proof that small town customer service lives on! Two years ago I bought progressive lenses here and after trying them for a couple months I reluctantly concluded that I could just not adjust to them and I returned, expecting to be out of pocket several hundred dollars for this failed experiment and was completely surprised when Karen told me she could exchange them for two pairs glasses of different strengths , with no additional money due. The two pairs have been great. I have stopped in a handful of times for her to adjust the frames and to tighten some screws - always for no charge (although she has a cookie jar on the counter to which people are welcome to contribute and she will, in turn, give to charities in the community). Today, nearly 2 years later I returned because the coating on my reading glasses has started to come off. I really didn't think anything could be done about it but wanted to know how important it was and/or how much it would cost to replace the lenses. Karen took one look at them, checked on her computer and saw that I have had them for a few weeks shy of two years which means the lenses are covered by a full warranty and she has ordered a replacement set of lenses for me and will call me next week when they come in and will put them in my frames -- again for no charge and again with a "thank you for coming in." I can't imagine wanting to buy glasses anywhere else

I can't say enough good things about this business. Making an appointment was easy and the woman I…read morespoke with on the phone was pleasant and helpful. When I arrived to my appointment, I didn't have to wait. Everything was right on schedule. Dr. Gallagher did a thorough eye exam and was very knowledgeable about my specific vision issues (relating to side effects from a previous procedure and an illness). He took time to answer all of my questions and I didn't feel like he was in a hurry. Back in the area where frames are sold, there was no pressure to buy frames from them. In fact, they gave me a laminated card with my prescription to take with me (presumably to make it easier to buy frames elsewhere if I wanted to). I had some unique vintage frames that I wanted to get my new prescription put into and they were able to do them for me on the premises. It's unique to find a place where someone with this skill actually works in the shop. The glasses were ready in a few days and reasonably priced. Every single person there was pleasant and helpful. I know you can buy cheap glasses online, but I'm happy to support brick and mortar businesses in the community that offers excellent service. You get what you pay for.

The gentleman who answered the phone, Bill (the owner), was extremely impatient and rude from the start. He told me he couldn't answer my questions and abruptly hung up on me. I called back simply to ask when the doctor would be available so I could speak with them directly. Once again, Bill said he was too busy to tell me when the doctor would be back and hung up on me a second time. There is no excuse for treating patients or their families this way. Basic courtesy and professionalism should be expected from any medical office. Based on this experience, I will not be bringing my daughter back.

I wish I could give them 10 stars!!! I had an absolutely AMAZING first experience!!!…read more The two ladies at the check-in desk were warm, welcoming, and friendly. They were on top of their game with knowing what my payments would be, and when there was a question, they called the company then and there to get it straightened out. One of the ladies, Tina, took me to the back for the autorefractor (I think that's what it's called) as well as the "puff test" to check the pressures in my eye. She made me very comfortable, and we laughed together at my reaction to getting the air puffs! Next up, I went in to see Dr. Robinson, and she was ABSOLUTELY FANTASTIC!! She was warm, welcoming, and friendly. She laughed at my jokes and did a thorough exam. I can tend to be anxious in these situations, but I was very comfortable around her. We made light conversation in between, which was very nice, and she answered all of my questions. She also did a contact lens fitting, ensuring the ones she chose for my trial were covered by the comapny paying for them. I also noticed that she checked and doubled checked to make sure she had numbers written down correctly. She also somehow made the whole "which is better: one, or two? One, or two?" experience less less terrible. Finally, I saw Elaine for a contact lens tutorial, and wouldn't you know it, she was just as warm, friendly, and welcoming as everyone else!! She showed me (by modeling on herself) how to properly insert and remove the contacts, and then she had me practice. I had a little bit of trouble at first, but she was very patient and encouraging. She shared with me how to properly care for and clean my contacts, as well as some tips and tricks. She was extremely thorough and helpful, and she answered all of my questions! I've been wearing glasses for 20+ years, and this is the absolute best experience I have ever had with an eye doctor's office. I will definitely continue to see them, and recommend their office to all of my friends and family.

Immediately after walking in and being greeted by their front desk - I knew I was in the right place. Clean atmosphere, VERY friendly staff and some of the most beautiful eyewear I have seen. I was able to get in for an exam in less than a month, the doctor was very good - excellent from start to finish! The optician was AWESOME, she was even able to make my glasses in less than an HOUR! You should all be proud of yourselves, and I will be back for some new sunglasses soon!
