They took care of the screw and large scratch while I waited (about 5 minutes). The pair with many scratches was about a month beyond the 1-year scratch warranty, but the staff at Hanover Eye Care was able to get the warranty company to cover the repairs anyway. I got a text from Hanover Eye Care about a week later letting me know my new lenses were ready. Everyone there was fantastic, and I will always go to them when I need new glasses.

When I arrived to my appointment, I didn't have to wait. Everything was right on schedule. Dr. Gallagher did a thorough eye exam and was very knowledgeable about my specific vision issues (relating to side effects from a previous procedure and an illness). He took time to answer all of my questions and I didn't feel like he was in a hurry. Back in the area where frames are sold, there was no pressure to buy frames from them. In fact, they gave me a laminated card with my prescription to take with me (presumably to make it easier to buy frames elsewhere if I wanted to). I had some unique vintage frames that I wanted to get my new prescription put into and they were able to do them for me on the premises. It's unique to find a place where someone with this skill actually works in the shop. The glasses were ready in a few days and reasonably priced. Every single person there was pleasant and helpful. I know you can buy cheap glasses online, but I'm happy to support brick and mortar businesses in the community that offers excellent service. You get what you pay for.

I have been her for routine checkups and same day visits for issues that arise. They are always so accommodating to get you evaluated. There is an optical center within the building. Nice selection of frames. They do not have a lab where if you wanted to use the same frames and replace lenses. I cant imagine finding a better place than Valley Vision Eyecare to service my opthalmological needs. She didn't have the same attitude with the previous person she was working with so don't really know the reason for the attitude switch...nonetheless...I deferred to purchasing my glasses online. He went absolutely above and beyond, and got me the best prescription I've ever had. He actually had me come back two or three more times (for free!) to check and adjust the prescription until it was perfect -- and it really made a difference each time. Not only is my vision sharper, but the prescription lets me relax my eyes like I never could with my other prescriptions... my eyes are less fatigued at the end of the day, and it's much easier to use a computer for long periods of time. He also really encouraged me to adopt healthier eye care practices. I don't know how he makes any money giving out this kind of care, but I know I'll be going back!

Staffers impart the message that a client's satisfaction with both payment and treatment are tantamount. I am amazed at the work rate of doctors and staff, here, but it appears they are not put-out, easily. This commitment to everyone's most comfortable eyewear and satisfying vision could be overlooked as aspects of a good team ethos. But, such qualities are only acquired by each persons' conviction that your experience matters more than the image they want to impart to you.
