Dr. Gallagher did a thorough eye exam and was very knowledgeable about my specific vision issues (relating to side effects from a previous procedure and an illness). He took time to answer all of my questions and I didn't feel like he was in a hurry. Back in the area where frames are sold, there was no pressure to buy frames from them. In fact, they gave me a laminated card with my prescription to take with me (presumably to make it easier to buy frames elsewhere if I wanted to). I had some unique vintage frames that I wanted to get my new prescription put into and they were able to do them for me on the premises. It's unique to find a place where someone with this skill actually works in the shop. The glasses were ready in a few days and reasonably priced. Every single person there was pleasant and helpful. I know you can buy cheap glasses online, but I'm happy to support brick and mortar businesses in the community that offers excellent service. You get what you pay for.

Basic courtesy and professionalism should be expected from any medical office. Based on this experience, I will not be bringing my daughter back.

Nice selection of frames. They do not have a lab where if you wanted to use the same frames and replace lenses. He went absolutely above and beyond, and got me the best prescription I've ever had. He actually had me come back two or three more times (for free!) to check and adjust the prescription until it was perfect -- and it really made a difference each time. Not only is my vision sharper, but the prescription lets me relax my eyes like I never could with my other prescriptions... my eyes are less fatigued at the end of the day, and it's much easier to use a computer for long periods of time. He also really encouraged me to adopt healthier eye care practices. I don't know how he makes any money giving out this kind of care, but I know I'll be going back!
