    This place is geared toward throughput and profit margins, not community care. Appointments are…read moretypically six to eight months out. If you want anything that resembles a regular cleaning schedule, you have to book 12 months in advance. If you cancel an appointment, or if they cancel it on you (which is not uncommon), you will be told that you can rebook in...wait for it...six to eight months. The only alternative is to get on their wait list for cancellations, for which you will have to drop everything on an hour's notice and race over. Works fine for non-working people who live close by, and don't have anything important to do, not so much for the rest of us. The receptionists are at best matter-of-fact. They acknowledge your presence and direct you to the tiny, often crowded waiting room. Friendly is not a word that would be used to describe them. The hygienists are the one respite from the factory-like feel. They are pleasant and good at what they do. The dentist, if they acknowledge you at all, will simply say "good morning," give the hygienist some brief instructions, and leave. If you blink, you will miss them. In short, the production line feel is not conducive to building trust that you are receiving good care...but they are one of the only games in town that take our insurance, so they seem to be able to get away with it.

I am leaving this practice due to the dishonesty and lack of professionalism in dealing with patients.

    This isn't retail: this is medicine, but friendly and with a glad-I-met-ya attitude…read more Angela is a super dentist who brings in amazing support staff to perform flawless hygiene, insert seamless fillings, all with no lasting pain. Less than two hours after an appointment of two fillings and a cap, the injection sites where Dr. Santavicca had poked me for novocaine had stopped aching. The hardware is as good as I have had in 40+ years of modern dentistry, and the software technology seems to be the optimal level of sophistication (including 3D imaging that accesses "before", "during", and "after" tooth alteration procedures). Another thing I noticed with this nearly all-female staff was that their dexterity was top notch the entire time, 9:00 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. So, it is first thing in the morning, and both the dentist and technician were coordinating very complex checklists of elements with patient, but cheerful airs. How do they do this for every patient? Somehow, they do.

I went to another dentist who confirmed that costly mistakes were made. I would not recommend her practice.

I live about a half an hour away and…read morewithout any notification via phone, or email my appointments were canceled on 3 separate occasions, so I drove the distance and sat in their waiting room for 20 to 30 minutes just to find out that I had no appointment. I was told that I would need 3 crowns and was brought in for that appointment and while wincing in pain due to the woman drilling one of the three teeth was told that they were nearly done and to just hold on. The person assisting dropped my temporary crown on the floor and then proceeded to rinse it of in warm water. I have been rescheduled several times over for something that should have been done two months ago. Two weeks ago I finally gave up after they changed my appointment to one 5 hours later and opted to schedule my following appointments with the one in Barre, Vt

I've had cleanings since that were normal and painless. But let's talk about today. I booked an appointment for 1:30. I got sent thirty texts to remind me about this appointment. I arrived at 1:10 and was the only person in the waiting room. For the next twenty minutes I waited, alone, and nothing happened. At 2:10, after seeing multiple people arrive quickly and just as quickly be taken back to be seen, I asked Joseph at reception what was happening. He gave a, "It is what it is, sorry, not sorry" reply. Why have five people who came in twenty minutes after me been seen before me? "There's only two dentists today," was the reply. There's simply no way that all of these people had appointments before me and got here after me. Someone messed up and no one wants to take responsibility. Joseph tells me he's spoken to the dentists and I will be the NEXT PERSON SEEN. This is an important detail. Who gets seen next? Not me! Who gets seen AFTER that person? Did you guess it wasn't me? You're correct!!! After that, I just wanted a reimbursement of the $57 fluoride they pre-charged me. Guess what? They can't do that because the right person isn't there! It's a miracle! You can't give me my money back for a treatment you didn't give me! I was told to call tomorrow and I'm eagerly awaiting the conversation where they try to tell me they can't give my money back for whatever scam reason they concoct. At that point, it'll be a BBB issue. To whichever bot or uncaring representative that replies to this review with a scripted, "We're so sorry, please contact us to work it out" message, don't bother. I'll be calling and fighting with this place tomorrow. Thanks for making me take time off from work for literally nothing but wasted gas and a scam charge for a treatment you didn't use. Soooo happy I missed making money for this.
