I cant say I love to see doctors, but I can say I am pretty happy to see him. He doesnt seem to play the games of doctors playing things "safe" and following the insurance games on treatment, and trying things that dont work and waste valuable time.. I always feel like he is a experienced service that serves me and not his office and staff like many others I have encountered. Im willing to say that Ill bet he is this way with everyone. While he does make me feel important every time I visit, I never ever feel like he has 85 patients a day and I am in veterinary clinic. There was plenty of free parking available in the vicinity, but the spaces directly in front of the building will most likely be taken. There were two women checking patients in as they entered the waiting room. They were both friendly and professional (no hiding behind their computer and glass door directing you to a clipboard like in other places). I had done the electronic checkin online the day before, so I didn't have to fill out any paperwork. They simply scanned my driver's license and medical card since I was a new patient. After that, I was free to sit down and wait to be called. The waiting room is large with lots of chairs and a bench for those who might not fit a chair. There were two televisions that people could watch to pass the time. However, I didn't have to wait long. My name was called within a minute of sitting down. The assistant brought me to the back area where she took my weight and height before moving me into an exam room. Once there, my blood pressure was taken and she reviewed my medical history. She encouraged me to get my flu vaccination and pneumonia vaccination and offered to give both of them to me at that moment. I loved that they took action right away! My nurse practitioner showed up soon afterwards. She did not seem overly happy to be there. I'm not sure if she was having a bad day or if this was her usual modus operandi (MO). This was a bit off putting for our first meeting, but despite her lack of enthusiasm, she performed her job well. She reviewed my medical and went through the litany of preventative procedures to make sure that I had done everything (pap smear, colonoscopy, mammogram, etc.) She was also ready to perform the pap smear if I had needed it. Thankfully since I had had one last year and the new recommendation is to do it every 3 years, I was able to skip it this time. She did a physical exam checking my eyes, ears, mouth, breathing, etc. She gave me paperwork, a urinalysis cup, and directed me to the lab on site where I could do my bloodwork. The phlebotomists were busy processing patients. They worked quickly, and I was seen within 10 minutes. She engaged me in conversation to take my mind off of the needle. She had no problem finding my vein immediately. Whew! What a relief that she was very skilled at her job. I was invited to sit in the lab waiting room where I could drink bottle water provided in the mini fridge. I needed this in order to complete that urinalysis test. The staff were all very patient, helpful , and professional. Other patients were quite friendly and chatted with one another in the lab waiting room. I love that this medical facility uses the Epic MyChart app for sharing medical records and storing them in a hub that is easy to access. I was able to get some of my lab results the same day and others came in the very next day through the MyChart app. Overall, I had a great first experience with this new medical team. When I called to schedule an appointment, they answered the phone and were able to get me in the very next day, despite being a new patient. They seemed to be very proactive and focused on preventative care. They use technology to stay organized and to communicate with the patients and the medical care team. They have a lab on site and can perform tests quickly. I'm really happy with the care I have received so far and look forward to using them for my future health care needs.

I couldn't get into my doctor so I felt so bad I went to Neighborhood Medical. Such a waste of my time and money. They did not take my insurance, but told me over the phone they did. I paid out of my pocket and it took an hour to see the PA, not a doctor. I have been treated by other PA's in my life with great success, but NOT today!!!! I had been prescribed amoxicillin by my doctor and it tore my stomach up so badly I had to take antacids. So I didn't complete the dosage. I told this PA that and she prescribed a doxycycline which is in the same family. My concern was there something else I could take, because I didn't want the same outcome. She kind of blew me off and just rushed out of the room. I was complaining about my left ear aching, and she didn't even take a look. So I waited for an hour to only have the PA to spent 10 minutes with me. Also, I'm probably 50lbs overweight and the PA kept asking if I knew I was overweight, yes most people know their weight, please! I said yes, I know I could lose some weight, but I'm not here for that reason...ugh! Waste of both of our time. Patience Be Ware!!!!

After taking 4 days of their prescribed medication but becoming increasingly ill (& I left a message to report it but no reply...). I went to my PCP and he immediately diagnosed pneumonia in my right lung. One kid kept flipping the light switch. The clientele is obviously not a control of the clinic but it just reflects the environment you'll be expected to be waiting. If your child is unwell, they could possibly feel worse by the time they leave after bearing with hour plus of screaming. The nurse was sweet and nice. Dr sadia Khan was alright. The actual visit went very fast. It's a shame they made you wait so long even with an appointment. I am so happy that I found him…read more Dr. Albert and Shandolyn are intelligent, caring, and not only are they extremely thorough, the doctor, phycian assistant and the staff are warm and friendly. I never feel rushed, and all of my questions are answered. I love that I can also walk in with out an appointment. When I have an appointment of course that is better because I don't have to wait long. As a walk in my wait time depends on how busy they are and I am assuming the patients who have appointments. I have been seen immediately at times as a walk in, and other times it did take a long time. I was ok with that because at least I didn't have to go to the hospital or wait until I could get an appointment. On Fridays they use to have the staff wearing blue jeans. I loved that. It was part of there casual down to earth atmosphere. However I did not think that this implied that they were not serious about medical culture. I am so sorry that they are no longer having there staff wearing jeans on Fridays. I love this practice. I know that alot of people want everything to be cosmopolitan and chic. This practice is not that. What it is is clean, warm, caring, with staff that is smart, and knowledgeable, and loves people. For me this is more my cup of tea.
