I can say without hesitation that the Cooper Clinic saved my life…read more On my most recent visit, Dr. Lynn McFarlane identified a serious blockage in my carotid artery--something I would never have known without the careful preventive screening the Cooper team provides. My cardiologist later confirmed that I had interrupted a potential event. In his words, I caught this just in time. Without this diagnosis, I am convinced I would have suffered a stroke. If I had lived through it, my life would have been irreversibly changed. Instead, I now consider myself as having been given a second chance. That gift is not just for me, but for my family as well. My gratitude runs deeper than words. I hold Dr. McFarlane and the entire Cooper Clinic team in the very highest regard. Their approach to preventive care is not just medicine--it's truly lifesaving. I've been coming to Cooper since my 30s, and this was my fifth visit. Each time I've been impressed, but this time, their thoroughness and expertise made all the difference. If you are considering whether preventive care matters, take it from me: it is an absolute gift. I will be forever in the debt of the Cooper Clinic.

My only concern is that they have closed their Willow Street gate, which is forcing their patrons to make illegal U-Turn (blowing past the No U Turn sign) on Preston Highway and causing a lot of honking, close calls, fender benders and outright accidents for which Cooper Clinic could be held responsible - should be held responsible. They are so busy making money - they just don't care.

Very disappointed. They only seem to care about DOLLARS not your health!! The specialist that they…read moresent me to (and that I'd seen before) told me that I needed a renewed referral for a previously scheduled appointment. I followed Neighborhood Medical Center's protocol for requesting a referral renewal (must fill out form online - cannot call - 1 week before doctor visit). I did exactly everything they requested and they still did not send the referral to my doctor's (specialist) office. I called several times, as did my doctor's (specialist) office -- and I didn't get a call until 4:36 PM the day before my appointment was scheduled with the specialist. When they DID finally call it was to tell me that they wouldn't re-send my referral unless I made an appointment and was seen by them even though I had JUST been seen about 1 month prior (and note they didn't mention anything at that visit about needing another appointment to get my referral renewal). Obviously I couldn't see my specialist the next day so I had to cancel that appointment (with a fee for cancelling less than 24 hours in advance!). Note this is a specialist that Neighborhood Medical Center insisted I see because of the health issue I was having. Yet because they are totally disorganized referral process (and lack of communicating what was needed when I was just in their office or anytime prior to my scheduled specialist appointment) I now cannot see my specialist and get my medication. Neighborhood Medical Center was HORRIBLE at communicating and incompetent in their practices. They don't care about your health, and actually put it at risk with their clerical "procedures". I will be finding a new PCP.

He has had a very slow and difficult recovery and is often depressed and telling me he wants to die. Dr Day pulled me aside to tell me he is dying and recommended hospice care. He didn't say why he thought he was dying nor did he say why he needed hospice. Ge didn't address his depression. As a result, I didn't ask for any blood work to be done. To say I was very distressed is an understatement. My husband told me the next day he doesn't want to go into hospice. I feel we were rushed and dismissed. We won't be going back to him.

Dr Hirsch and Nurse Practitioner Kala Dehaan are amazing! They have helped me so much in my journey…read moretowards optimizing my health. They are the perfect team. After years of going to countless doctors explaining to them my horrible and frightening symptoms, they would only run generic tests that always showed I was "normal." Because of the "normal" test results and the fact that I "looked" healthy, all the doctors I saw would brush me aside. THEN I met Dr. Albert Hirsch. Dr Hirsch was/is a God Send! He really listened to me and thoroughly explained his theories on health, bioidentical hormones and eating healthy ect.(my first appointment ran almost 2 hours long!) He ran many many tests, tests others doctors never had. Lo and behold, I have Hashimoto's, PCOS, extremely low progesterone (why I know I also have stage IV endometriosis) and very low testosterone. I started seeing him and Kala about 4 months ago and am already feeling a better. Unfortunately with thyroid diseases, finding your optimal dosage takes some time but I am getting there! The metformin given to me for PCOS almost instantly improved my insulin resistance/hypoglycemia symptoms! The progesterone supplements have done wonders for my endometriosis symptoms which include extreme fatigue and very painful cramps. And the testosterone cream has made me feel amazing!!! Hirsch Clinic has such an inviting feel to it. Everyone is so nice there. Dr Hirsch really loves trying to help people feel better and I am sooo thankful to him! My case is rather complicated but he never turned me away. If anything I think my complications were more of a challenge to him, making him determined to figure out my body. He and Kala are always a call, email or text away! Even at night or weekends! They have gone ABOVE & BEYOND what even "good" doctors do, making them GREAT! Dr Hirsch is a straightforward guy so be prepared for him to tell you exactly what he thinks, which is what I think anyone would want in their doctor! Nurse Practitioner Kala DeHaan is almost his opposite. She is soft and gentle. Together they make an amazing team. They both want nothing more than for their patients to feel "great." My advice to any new patients is to TRUST him and Kala. Follow their advice/instructions to the t. FYI I believe they are updating their website soon which I am very happy about bc honestly it doesn't portray half of what these people do! They can see patients anywhere in the world! They can Skype or have phone appointments so if you don't live in the DFW area you can still see them!

When I first saw him, I was under a great deal of stress and desperate to find an appropriate doctor so I could get my hormones back in balance--so I really wanted to make this relationship work. However, he constantly belittled me and acted frustrated any time I asked a question. He actually had the audacity to tell me I was a difficult patient and his entire staff thought so too. (I've only talked to one person in his office to make appointments so I'm still in shock by that remark) I've already paid him thousands of dollars and I've only seen him a few times so if that makes me a difficult patient, I am more than happy to see someone else--he's simply tweaking hormones, not curing cancer.

After IV infussion I was good for couple days and my headache came back even worse, and his medicine didn't work also, I called his office and left a message, they will not call you back and even if I talk to his nurse they are not knowledgable at all and rude and doctor himselft also never was available or even advise or try other medicine. He did not have the guts to tell me he would not treat me anymore instead he sent me a letter via certified mail to tell me to find another doctor. He would not even give me the courtesy of a referral. I will not recommend this doctor to anybody because he is more business man than doctor, he accept you to make the 20,000 dollars and then he will send you letter to go find another doctor.
