The vet knew absolutely nothing about Bengals and suggested that I should get pet insurance because 'Bengals tend to eat styrofoam and chew wires' (What the...?!?!?). When I later accompanied my sister with her own domestic cat, one of the women at the front desk was extremely rude to her. My sister's cat was prescribed a medication for an eye infection that she had been given in the past to treat cat herpes. Not exactly a pharmacological expert, my sister wanted to make sure it was the right medication and approached the desk to ask simply for more information and clarification: the woman got defensive and accused her of not wanting to buy the medication for her cat. I watched the interaction in shock. No one in my family ever went back after that. If you are looking for a vet, go elsewhere.

Never go here - worse vet ever…read more I took my dog there (and have been for 7 years ) the vet is afraid of dogs -she wants to muzzle and sedate them - took mine last week and she refused to give him an exam because he growled at her (dogs sense fear and he knew she was afraid) Took the same dog to another vet same day and they were able to do the exam and give all shots - had great talk about what he needs and now have a new vet - never again will any of my animals walk thru the door at Kanata Animal Hospital Expensive, Rude and bad service
