Dalmont's Mobile Home Park

Dalmont's Mobile Home Park

Do you best to avoid this spot. I've been to many different parks over the last 3 years in many…read morestates and this one is one to not go to. At first when I first moved it it wasn't so bad, we just dealt with it because we were waiting for our new spot to open up which was going to be a handful of months. But the manager "Shirley" what a piece of work she is. They way she handles things and talk to you and your family, talk about rude. I don't know where to start about this place. After a few months I have gotten to know some other residents old and new and talk about some really large mix feelings around here. 1. Very first night my hubby and I decided to go and use the showers and wow talk about some huge cockroaches. Like big 2inch bugs that you heard a large crunch sound and felt it crunch under your foot when you stepped on them. There was one in each shower stall. 2. I was told that the bathrooms are maintained and cleaned daily. Wrong, might be cleaned every week. Definitely never cleans the drains and NEVER scrubs the walls in showers. I have personally bought my own cleaners and scrubbed the bathroom showers myself to make it more efficient. I'm always personally cleaning the drains to make the water go down. 3. The one of the lights went out in the bathroom. Many family's told her about it. Said ok we get to it.... The 2nd light went out. Family's around the park had to use their own flashlights and phone lights to light up the bathroom for a month and a half before they finally replaced both lights. 4. There are about 6 little small dogs no bigger then 15lbs that are running around off leash all the time. 5. There are about 10 cats running around lose that apparently don't belong to anyone. (Long term residence has said this) 6. The trash cans there are only 2! One at the very front of the park, and the other is all the way on the far far side "in the mud too" 7. The ground is just gravel and will FLOOD during the raining season. 8. There are BUGS everywhere. You will be bit! They have apparently stop spraying for bugs and weeds at the end of 2021 (long term residents have said this) your on your own when it comes to bugs and weeds. 9. Don't expect the manager to pass along message of emergencies to family. We had an incident where a car broke down and no family had a phone. The grandma called the park manager to pass a message to the household that we broke down here and will soon be home as soon as found a ride. The manager said to grandma " I don't have time to pass along a message im taking a shower" Now the manager her self she will bad mouth off your family and yourself. She has called my daughter a "demon kid" numerous of times to my face and to her and my family! She calls me a worthless fat ass who doesn't work! To my face and to grandma, I beg to pardon but I've been and always been a full time worker just because I work night and I'm home during the day don't mean I don't work! She has posted blame on my family for the "bugs", she has said since my family has moved in we brought homeless to use the showers which has apparently made it a mess "I have never once let anyone in for showers". She has said that my dogs bark at all hours of the day. (I had two large dogs who actually don't bark at all because we are always home and are NEVER off leash) I guess you can say here are some pros: -pet friendly -has showers and restroom -one price rent with electric included -month to month lease -RV and single wide park -spacious - mostly quiet (disregard the train and I-10 - quick access to freeway -close to NMSU
