Different from the typical sit-down sermons one is used to. It's a large church with an amazing auditorium & stage. They make you feel very welcomed & like a VIP here. The only drawback for me is it's a drive from Apache Junction to Chandler but then again, my friend & her family drive from Maricopa to Chandler in order to attend so it may be worth it. They also have a fun church for kids to attend as well & an on-site school with a student center. It's a gorgeous campus. It gets so packed that they have people doing traffic control duty! Also, there is an inside baptist dunk pool & an outside baptist dunk pool. My friend was baptized in the outside one.

We came in "comparing" churches and not really listening to God, at first. We loved Cornerstone. Since then we have now become a family of 5. We love the worship, we love the teachings and all of the various small groups. IF you don't get involved, IF you just sit and watch everyone else, you will stunt your Christian walk. We just celebrated 21 years of being in Arizona, our home AND Cornerstone. We become as active in all of the volunteer activities as we can. We don't love Cornerstone because it is a "Mega" church; we love Cornerstone because it is many churches within a "Mega" church for all ages. Grateful that we listened to God. Just sayin'. :) Cindy, Frank, Heather, Faith & Charlotte Watson

There's plenty of onsite parking and lots of programs to get involved in. The atmosphere is super friendly and welcoming, but what I love most is the diversity of the congregation. They give you hard biblical truths and make the Bible more relevant and digestible. I love that they have a college and are focusing on growing a generation to advocate social justice. I love that they don't rest on only worrying about their congregation but instead are world focused. Palmers background of growing up in Africa ensures that the Grove never views the world as "Gilbert AZ." The chairs don't match! It's one of my favorite things. It say, "Come as you are!" The setup of the worship house is intimate and welcoming. The worship is out of this world. Josh Havens, Andrea Hughes and Katie are phenomenal! But most of all, I like that they preach that no church or pastor should be your salvation. They focus on helping everyone get and grow an individual relationship with Christ! Churc I thank God for the Grove, the staff and Celebrate Recovery. Highly recommend!

There's an incredible amount of young adults that go to their church which was awesome to see. The reason I give only 3 stars is because of the children's ministry. They were super friendly when I was dropping my 2nd grader off for the first time, but when I picked him up, I was bummed to see him sitting alone and no teachers around him. I was a bit late to get him, because I was talking, but I have served at many churches and no matter how late the parents are, the volunteers do not leave the children. He wasn't the last kid picked up and completely alone, but in the 2nd grade "area" it was just him with no adults. Also when we were walking out, the person I gave my tag too kind of ignored us and when I said thanks and goodbye, she just continued to talk to her friends that were nearby. So in a way I felt like people were kind and friendly, but not as welcoming as I hoped for a first time person. Wanting to try the church again and hopefully it will feel different next time.

The community here is strong, authentic, and full of people who are kind, encouraging, and focused on living out their faith. What stands out most is the teaching. The sermons are rooted in the Gospel, biblically sound, practical, and easy to apply to everyday life. You can tell the leadership genuinely cares about helping people grow spiritually rather than just putting on a service. The atmosphere is uplifting without feeling fake or overly polished. There's a real sense of humility, purpose, and love for God and people. The children's programs are also fantastic, and it's clear they invest heavily in families and the next generation. If you're looking for a church with solid Gospel teaching, meaningful community, and a welcoming environment, I highly recommend visiting. We're very thankful we found this place.
