My husband and I have been attending LWBC for nearly 20 years and I couldn't even begin to try and…read moretype out all the ways our lives have been impacted by our church family and all the Word that's been received in our hearts. Not having a healthy family example growing up, it's no wonder God planted my husband and I here when we were first married, because the Word the Lord has given this church first and foremost is to build strong Word and faith families. I can testify that being planted here for 20 years has done just that in our lives! We were married young, pregnant, and all statistics would have said we were destined to fail, but God is faithful and His Word (the bible) is all powerful! Psalm 92:13 says those who are planted in the house of the Lord will flourish in His courts, and that truly describes our lives in every way - from our family flourishing, to the financial increase we've experienced, healing power in our physical bodies, joy, peace, amazing friendships, we live a blessed life! That doesn't mean storms don't come our way, but we don't fret or worry...instead, we have learned to put our trust in the Lord and in His Word, and to speak His Word fearlessly and to command the storms to be calm so that we can get to the other side in victory. God's Word never fails! (Isaiah 55:11) Whether it's healing for a relationship, healing for a friend's physical body, freedom from fear, freedom from addictions, someone speaking lies against you, whatever the storm may be, when you meditate on God's Word (Joshua 1:8), you will make your way prosperous and successful! This is a church that is strong in teaching straight from the bible, the truth and power of God's Word. Also, if you need a miracle from God, this is the place to be...not that you can't receive a miracle right in your own home or in another church, because you most certainly of course can! Just sharing that we have seen many miracles, especially this past year - many healed of cancer and other sickness and disease. Matthew 21:13 says: "My house shall be called a house of prayer" .... There is an opportunity at the end of every service for people to come forward with prayer requests, and the Sunday night services are especially geared for people in need -- it's a time where we as a body agree with the Word and the report of the Lord (what He says in His Word - like "by His stripes you were healed!") and there is great freedom for the Holy Spirit to minister healing to God's people. Praise and worship is longer at the Sunday night services and there is an opportunity for every person who desires to come forth for prayer. No church is perfect, because people aren't perfect and churches are made up of people, so I don't get hurt if someone in the body rubs me the wrong way, or says something that's not so nice...I believe too many people go from church to church looking for the "perfect" place, and unfortunately, you're never going to find it, because again, wherever you go, you're going to find people. :-) It's in those moments where we choose to love, even when it's not so easy to love, that our roots go deep and we grow and mature in the love of God (which I can tell you firsthand is richly rewarding). I've forgiven just a few people who've done things to hurt me in this lifetime...:-) many of them weren't easy, but when I prayed for God to fill me up with His love for those people, He did and in the process, I got healed too! God's love IS perfect, and HIS love never fails. (1 Cor 13:8) I pray daily for Him to fill me up with HIS love, because my own love runs out, but His never does. His love never ceases to amaze me in its work, its grace and its fruit. Be blessed! I pray you find the church God has called YOU to...my husband and I knew the first time we attended Living Word that this was where he was leading US to call "home." You'll know when you're home too...

There's an incredible amount of young adults that go to their church which was awesome to see. The reason I give only 3 stars is because of the children's ministry. They were super friendly when I was dropping my 2nd grader off for the first time, but when I picked him up, I was bummed to see him sitting alone and no teachers around him. I was a bit late to get him, because I was talking, but I have served at many churches and no matter how late the parents are, the volunteers do not leave the children. He wasn't the last kid picked up and completely alone, but in the 2nd grade "area" it was just him with no adults. Also when we were walking out, the person I gave my tag too kind of ignored us and when I said thanks and goodbye, she just continued to talk to her friends that were nearby. So in a way I felt like people were kind and friendly, but not as welcoming as I hoped for a first time person. Wanting to try the church again and hopefully it will feel different next time.

This church has such a loving feeling to it that it we felt right at home immediately. We became active in many of their groups & decided to join as Founding Members when that option was available. We raised our daughter while attending this church, almost from when we moved back to Arizona when she was in third grade until she finally went off to college. After our daughter moved, eventually now to Gilbert, we became friends with Alice, a woman we met at ACC and worked with her on Sunday mornings helping the church in various ways. In January 2022, Alice died after being hit by a truck while she was waiting for the bus to go to work. Alice had also gone to ACC for many years, and the church did a beautiful celebration of her life, giving her friends, work associates, and other members of ACC a chance to mourn and share positive memories & thoughts of Alice. My whole family is very grateful for this church and how wonderfully they have served our family! Thanks, all at ACC, for all you do for everyone. KS

How can I put into words everything this church means to me?!!!! They're more than just people…read morerunning a church, they allow the Holy Spirit to move in the way He wants in such freedom!!!! There's such a beautiful anointing here! And everything yields to our Father - everything!!! Miracles and wonders and healing happen often. The broken hearted find wholeness through Gods love! My Pastors are like a lighthouse leading us to Jesus week after week!!! They're also the most humble people you would ever meet! I am just so blessed to have not only found my church home but also found my forever family!!!!!! I've lived a lot of places and it is rare to find a church that allows God to move. Most churches are more like a music concert, a written out script or message, a time limited schedule and truly more like a business that makes you feel good! Not a church like mine speaking Gods truth to set people free!!! But on a deeper personal side, behind the scenes I've known these good people!!! Through the cancer of my husband they were there. In the hospital they were there!!!! At a moments notice they'd drop it all to be there to bring God's light and miraculous with them!!!! This is NOT a church that is in it to lift themselves up but to bring His will forward and truly love His people!!!! My sweetheart would not be in Heaven right now if it weren't for the obedience of these pastors!!! There's a million churches out there that are more like a "feel good" place. These churches aren't interested in setting the captives free, healing the sick or reaching the multitudes before they cliff dive into hell!!! This church is right smack in the Will of God and they shine His love through all they do with a humble spirit!!!!! You don't know me but if u did u would know I am not a fake person, I can be described as blunt at times because I don't mask the truth and I don't go to church because the pastors my best friend or bc I need social time. If u knew me u would know I am reclusive and I don't believe on doing anything at all to please others or to do "works" for Jesus. I go to this church because it's my weekly bread where the Holy Spirit is able to move as He would want. I'm a military brat and have lived all over our nation and internationally and trust me when I say finding a church with this freedom is rare!!!!!!! I can't express enough the gratitude I have for the storms I've been through that these people have come along me and held up my head up to keep me from drowning at times - not afraid to get wet!!!!! They did this in love - not recognition!!!! And I am forever changed and so is my beloved in Heaven because of their faithfulness and obedience and love!!!!! Everything they do points you to Jesus. EVERYTHING. Anything spoken against this church is frankly untrue. Come see for yourself if you have been looking for more!!!! We were created to know our Creator intimately!!!! I am so blessed by the people here and by my Jesus who pours out His love on us every week!!! Thank you Tim, Kari, Mama LaNora and Jody for keeping the flame lit. I love all of u dearly!!!
