The community here is strong, authentic, and full of people who are kind, encouraging, and focused on living out their faith. What stands out most is the teaching. The sermons are rooted in the Gospel, biblically sound, practical, and easy to apply to everyday life. You can tell the leadership genuinely cares about helping people grow spiritually rather than just putting on a service. The atmosphere is uplifting without feeling fake or overly polished. There's a real sense of humility, purpose, and love for God and people. The children's programs are also fantastic, and it's clear they invest heavily in families and the next generation. If you're looking for a church with solid Gospel teaching, meaningful community, and a welcoming environment, I highly recommend visiting. We're very thankful we found this place.

There are a lot of opportunities for community at New Valley. We have regular women and men's events, as well as a robust children's and youth ministries. My husband and I were looking for a church that not only had a great group of people that preached…read morethe good word of God, but a place where we felt welcome by everyone there. My husband wanted a church that performed new christian music like what you hear on Air1. I was looking for a more diverse group of positive people that were not afraid to cry out Amen or just cry out to God when the Holy Spirit over took them. It was hard to get my husband to go, but I found this church right here on yelp and I dug in further and went to their website. Everything was looking good to me. After further review of their website, I showed it to my husband. I showed him the reviews on yelp, the photos of the musical production, and one of the sermons pastor Phil did online. So we went one Sunday morning, when we got up real early. And we loved it. The music, the sermon, and the people. We felt welcome by everyone we met there. The place was filled with smiling people and laughing children. They have an information station and we signed up to learn more about baptism, and for my husband, he wanted to become a part of the production team. Two weeks later we received a letter in the mail from pastor Phil with a $5 gas gift card for us to come back to visit them again. And we are very glad we did. My husband and I now work for their production team and are very happy with our decision to make this our church. This place is full of a diverse group of positive people that make you feel welcome. It is a home. Pastor Phil keeps it real, and I really like that. If you are looking for a place like this to praise God, please try it out. It just might work for you. You can always check their live online sermon as well. 8:30 am and 10:30 am on Sundays.

If you love the beauty and liturgy of the Anglican church, and want a Biblically orthodox church, give CCA a try. They love visitors, and no pressure. The members are involved in a lot of things from mission outreach (in PHX and afar) to going on local hikes. The Sunday service is at 9 a.m., followed by what they call Adult Education -- that's basically a talk over in the parish hall, the subject of which varies from one Sunday to the next. Everyone has coffee and snacks first, though, and then enjoys the talk. Child care is provided for most functions. The church is on N 20th Street, on the right just before 20th St dead-ends into Bethany Home.

Nobody is here for their own agenda, but to LOVE ON JESUS. If you're looking for a church that feels like family, if you're looking for a church that you can experience the real,, come here! Never have I been so miraculously change, and healed and delivered, never have I experienced the resurrection power of the Holy Spirit. Never have I felt love like this. These people YIELD to HIM!!!

How can I put into words everything this church means to me?!!!! They're more than just people…read morerunning a church, they allow the Holy Spirit to move in the way He wants in such freedom!!!! There's such a beautiful anointing here! And everything yields to our Father - everything!!! Miracles and wonders and healing happen often. The broken hearted find wholeness through Gods love! My Pastors are like a lighthouse leading us to Jesus week after week!!! They're also the most humble people you would ever meet! I am just so blessed to have not only found my church home but also found my forever family!!!!!! I've lived a lot of places and it is rare to find a church that allows God to move. Most churches are more like a music concert, a written out script or message, a time limited schedule and truly more like a business that makes you feel good! Not a church like mine speaking Gods truth to set people free!!! But on a deeper personal side, behind the scenes I've known these good people!!! Through the cancer of my husband they were there. In the hospital they were there!!!! At a moments notice they'd drop it all to be there to bring God's light and miraculous with them!!!! This is NOT a church that is in it to lift themselves up but to bring His will forward and truly love His people!!!! My sweetheart would not be in Heaven right now if it weren't for the obedience of these pastors!!! There's a million churches out there that are more like a "feel good" place. These churches aren't interested in setting the captives free, healing the sick or reaching the multitudes before they cliff dive into hell!!! This church is right smack in the Will of God and they shine His love through all they do with a humble spirit!!!!! You don't know me but if u did u would know I am not a fake person, I can be described as blunt at times because I don't mask the truth and I don't go to church because the pastors my best friend or bc I need social time. If u knew me u would know I am reclusive and I don't believe on doing anything at all to please others or to do "works" for Jesus. I go to this church because it's my weekly bread where the Holy Spirit is able to move as He would want. I'm a military brat and have lived all over our nation and internationally and trust me when I say finding a church with this freedom is rare!!!!!!! I can't express enough the gratitude I have for the storms I've been through that these people have come along me and held up my head up to keep me from drowning at times - not afraid to get wet!!!!! They did this in love - not recognition!!!! And I am forever changed and so is my beloved in Heaven because of their faithfulness and obedience and love!!!!! Everything they do points you to Jesus. EVERYTHING. Anything spoken against this church is frankly untrue. Come see for yourself if you have been looking for more!!!! We were created to know our Creator intimately!!!! I am so blessed by the people here and by my Jesus who pours out His love on us every week!!! Thank you Tim, Kari, Mama LaNora and Jody for keeping the flame lit. I love all of u dearly!!!
