We had a wonderful experience at Trinity Church. The teaching was firmly rooted in God's Word and centered on biblical truth. The church wasn't too large, which created a warm, intimate atmosphere where it was easy to connect with others. There is a lot of mis-quoting scripture from Driscol. A lot of bad "advice" coming out of the men's groups. Lack of Biblical education within the church as a whole. Music is too loud. sermon was not appropriate for Palm Sunday- it wasn't even mentioned. I felt like I was being yelled at. Not for me!

The one time I went they showed a video of the pastor and his wife encouraging congregants to donate money since they are closing on a new property in January 2026 and $1.3M due. They had a donor who was going to match up to a mil. I go to a mega church and have attended for 2 decades and not once have they asked for money - other than drives to give food and toys to kids and families in need. They'll announce plans to build something but not to ask for money. It just gets built. But I'm glad I went that day so I can have immediate discernment. read more

We live in Colorado but my son lives in Tempe and we needed to get to church. So we hit up Trinity and wow! We were super impressed by how welcoming everyone was. The free coffee was great! A little sad that we didn't get to see Mark in person but the worship music was amazing and the sermon was great! Bible focused with no concern in politics correctness which I loved! The church is supposed to set up a separate fund for building...I know being asked for money isn't fun but it is biblical and God asks us to give to Him. Having attended weekly, served regularily and having been a committed generous donor to Trinity for 4 years, things have come to light that make me deeply concerned about the lack of fiscal responsibility and accountability for the money the church receives from it's church members. After a large remodeling campaign for the current church campus was completed, suddenly it was now time to buy a "bigger & better" campus and to sell the campus we just completed and put all that money into. This decision was made by Mark and not the church as a body. After announcing a $50 MILLION Budget to REMODEL a newly purchased $15 MILLION commercial building, my wife and I realized that the money we give is primarily being used to not expand the Great Commission that Christ left us with, but apparently, to expand one families glory and lifestyle and the Driscoll Legacy. Mark preaches God's word, and sinners, as we all are, find Christ and salvation at Trinity, but sadly, Mark has no accountability to a board, so no one has any input on how the money is being used. I have now discovered it is being used for personal gains to purchase large $3.5M homes, land, vehicles and to provide large salaries for all of his children's church positions. I personally have looked into and found out that my tithe has essentially been stolen from it's true intent which I thought was to spread the Gospel of Jesus Christ and is instead, going to fund a lavish lifestyle, multiple homes and vehicles for he and his family "employees" and to expanding one man's legacy (NOT God's). I invite conversation to clarify my concerns, but until that time, because of the way the church is run without accountability, sadly, I cannot support Trinity Church Scottsdale or attend there any longer. Mark, I encourge you to open your heart and reflect on: I Timothy 6:5-10. The end times are growing ever closer and yet it has the appearance that you are chasing Paradise here on earth, instead of in God's eternal kingdom. You have the opportunity to do great things in God's Kingdom, but they will forever be overshadowed if the desires of this world take away the veracity of the words you preach. read more

I have heard 100's of Marks sermons over the years ... Never heard anything prophetic before! This sermon gave me goose bumps! We love Trinity! Pastor Mark is an incredible Biblical speaker and teacher, but Trinity goes beyond with what has truly been an incredible community ready to serve. Even their child care is LOADED with people ready and happy to serve and instruct and overal just give the kids an incredible church experience and opportunity to get to be around other Christ centered families. My family loves this church. We came for the first time on Easter & we've been several times since. The praise & worship is full of passion & the band/ singers dress modestly. They are talented as well. Pastor Mark & his wife grace seem to have a healthy relationship. We are a traditional Bible believing family, and our 17 year old has a call to be a Pastor & a teacher. The teachings are practical & full of sound doctrine. Last Saturday they had a guest Pastor teach & his sermon was excellent as well. Mark Driscoll is definitely one of our favorite Bible teaches & we feel blessed to have this church within a short drive from our home in Mesa. Our 17 year old son is going to camp with the church soon & attends Youth at 3 pm on Saturdays at the "Cafe" building that's in a strip mall west of the church. Our 25 year old is going to start going to young adults & our 17 year old will join him when he's old enough. My husband will start going to Real Men on Tuesdays/ Wednesdays & I may start going to Real Women on Wednesdays am or PM. read more

Good luck trying to find a way to actually contact the Church. They do a great job of preaching, I love the church overall, but man if you ever want to actually try to contact them you will be looking into the abyss. Literally have been trying to get ahold of them across any channel I can find, they have ZERO email address on their site, no telephone number published on their site - even if you call the main number in the Yellow pages it goes right to a voicemail box, same with the donation lines etc.. All that social media stuff they push out but ZERO way to actually get a hold of someone. I thought church were supposed to be there to support their audience, feels like they are focused soley on marketing and church growth- not so much for having an easy way to get a hold of the church and its leadership if you ever have a problem that you would want some spiritual help with. Faith family roast and every else 2nd. Pastor Mark is real he explains biblical teachings in English terms. His passion shines. He doesn't put up with anything else just biblical teachings. It's worth a visit you won't be disappointed. It feels very welcoming here. He's also on the Pray app. His wife Grace runs the women's Bible study. They have a men's Bible study too. Kids camps which I don't need but an FYI. Incredible musician guests. Saw Ben Fuller here and was blown away. So much we attended services both Saturday and Sunday. From a flyer about this new church opening and the rest is history!!!They embraced me in the name of Jesus, and very instrumental in my healing! The Trinity Church is where you go when you need sound, biblical teaching to impact your life and walk with Christ. I too went to Mars Hill in Seattle and was devastated when Mark wasn't teaching anymore. I am so thankful he is following God's plan even when it doesnt make sense to those who were from Mars Hill. My husband and I currently stream every Sunday, and next month will be moving to Mesa. We were at TTC for Easter and if you're needing an amazing kids ministry they have it! The worship is contemporary and allows you to worship God with all your heart! The people are friendly, eager to help you find where you're going and able to point you in the right direction if they don't know. Mark and his preaching was great. I prefer more exegetical approaches. We went twice. One was of a guest preacher and it was very basic. The worship wasn't very Holy Spirit focused. It was more like "let's get everyone excited and to clap their hands" instead of really listening to the Holy Spirit. More of an entertaining emphasis. The people were nice. They wanted to make new comers feel welcome. Worship was just very short with two songs that were upbeat hymns. And then they have two songs at the end. I just want more worship and more of a focus on listening to the Holy Spirit. read more
