I have gone to the women's retreat in Williams in March and it was the most encouraging experience. This is a conservative church and it feels very familiar to the baptist church I was raised in. As a young person in their 30s I find the messages relatable and encouraging in my walk with God. I spent several years in Phoenix looking for a church before coming to this church. I enjoy the main pastors Jaime and Rustens messages as well as the guest pastors they have speak. There is a very pleasant Christian bookstore/coffee shop located on the premises.

Once inside there was more photo opp scenes set up for holiday pics, plus a coffee station . Before the service there was entertainment from other locations. The service consisted of music and a short message from the pastor. I am looking forward to attending a non holiday service in 2023.

Your self worth needs to come from within, nothing external. We can debate that Jesus is within us but that'a a level of consciousness most people aren't at yet. Derive your self worth from your character, your daily actions, your morals, how you treat people, and nothing else because those things will always be with you (so will Jesus). No external thing (cars, money, a fancy church) can fill your self worth as much as loving yourself can. To anyone reading this wondering how dare I, you are part of the problem. Now let's get to the good stuff. The Old Adobe Mission Scottsdale is the oldest Catholic church in Phoenix. You'll learn all about the history of the church inside. There's various information you can read on the walls, as well as a video playing in the back room. There's some cool art to check out too.
